While the TNSCERT syllabus is similar to CBSE in content, it lacks focus on analytical and practical knowledge in some schools. Many State Board schools prioritize academic success over holistic learning, whereas CBSE encourages students to explore subjects more deeply and giving it's dominance over State Board Syllabus Considering that your children are still young, it's important to let them enjoy childhood, they try to get rid of studying and so makes them to appear restless but they have to adapt for it as their hardwork and determination benefit them in future (Consider what if they also not satisfied with State Board syllabus too and not upto your expectations?). Sticking with the CBSE curriculum might benefit them in the future, especially if they aim to sit for competitive exams, as many are based on the CBSE syllabus and they'll be already used to that. However, if your priority is their mental peace and a balanced academic life, the State Board syllabus could be a good option. Well.... Being an icse student all we had to study was the concise and most of our syllabus including our numericals used to get cover up by just that one book so i don't really understand why CBSE has such a vast band, why not just study from 1 trusted publisher? And I truly believe that nothing is better than NCERT atleast from board pov.
That's kinda wierd considering the fact that being a puc 1st year student our collage professors still recommend NCERT, atleast for the boards, for competitive it's just a whole different story. But seriously y'all must have had a really hard time refering multiple books.

CBSE=STATE BOARD. A slight difference, they have extra questions. If state board has 10 questions then cbse would have 17 or 20 questions. The topics are same but in different names.But in 12th, in maths, state board is better🎉
I accept that your book has more content (ex : sets is in cbse 11th but for you in 9th) but state board can only be as good as CBSE only when they make their students to actually understand the concept not mugging up bro

Board for 12th boards...and literally the content given in our state board textbook is far beyond NCERT, almost equivalent to reference books for NEET/JEE

I completed my plus two from a pre University few years ago, Pcmb stream. Scored an 89 % and it was honestly difficult. The cbse pattern was much more easier eith fill in the blanks and multiple choice questions. We just had long or short answer questions, no multiple choice or fill in the blanks. I'm glad that now they've made all boards same under new education policy
If you're jee or neet aspirant cbse is the best because state board doesn't teach you that much as required for jee and neet I'm a state board student i realised this after taking state board

But the questions in the GSEB board exam are bookish and lengthy. And one of my cousin living in gujarat even told me that you cant write answers in your own words, you have to write exactly the bookish answer otherwise they cut your marks. This thing is so wrong it promotes rattafication rather than understanding the basics. Same rattafication happens here in TN board. And now the cbse curriculum has changed they ask tricky and numerical questions now.

After passing out 10th 12th from state board is like "wanted to study but don't know how to start ,what to start and why to start . Main pblm is that in Phys we don't have practice of solving numericals , in maths from 1 to 12th we just solved formula based questions and in chem 😅raata maar . After deciding to give entrance exam sincerely it's like 1000 kg weight is kept on our head .

But the questions in the GSEB board exam are bookish and lengthy. And one of my cousin living in gujarat even told me that you cant write answers in your own words, you have to write exactly the bookish answer otherwise they cut your marks.
This thing is so wrong it promotes rattafication rather than understanding the basics. Same rattafication happens here in TN board.
And now the cbse curriculum has changed they ask tricky and numerical questions now.

After passing out 10th 12th from state board is like "wanted to study but don't know how to start ,what to start and why to start . Main pblm is that in Phys we don't have practice of solving numericals , in maths from 1 to 12th we just solved formula based questions and in chem 😅raata maar . After deciding to give entrance exam sincerely it's like 1000 kg weight is kept on our head .
