    4/5. Got a bit confused with question #2. Now I understand the reason as to why the answer is "future progressive" with the help of the diagram.

    Sir, goooood morning. I want to ask you about a word "try". A: Dare you do it? B:Try me. But can I say I heard she is a tough teacher at this subject. I want to try her. I mean I want to challenge her. Does it work? Make sense?

    • @englishspeaking360
      @englishspeaking360  2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hello! The phrase "I want to try her" is grammatically correct, but it may not convey the exact meaning you want in this context. In English, saying "I want to try her" could sound ambiguous or even imply testing her in a personal or inappropriate way, depending on the tone and context.
      To express the idea of challenging a tough teacher, it would be clearer to say something like:
      "I want to challenge her."
      "I want to test her skills as a teacher."
      "I want to see how tough she really is."
      These alternatives are more specific and less likely to be misunderstood.

      @@englishspeaking360 Sir, what you meant is I want to try her could be that I want to have intercourse with her? Try to have a taste of her flesh?

    • @englishspeaking360

    I don’t know if you’ll agree with me or not, English is more difficult than Chinese

    • @englishspeaking360
      @englishspeaking360  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hmmm... that's an interesting point of view. The difficulty associated with learning a new language mainly comes from the differences between the new language and your mother tongue. For English speakers, Chinese is the most difficult language to learn because of the complex writing system, the thousands of characters to memorize, and the 4 tones. However, for Vietnamese speakers, it is much easier since the 2 languages have many similarities.
      So, if your own language is very different from English, it may seem difficult to learn but with some practice everything is possible! Don't give up! 🤩

      Both my speaking and listening are good but my listening is 👎 just because of the pronunciation which makes English so difficult

    • @englishspeaking360
      @englishspeaking360  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's understandable...
      I highly recommend listening to music in English and singing along. That's a great way to improve both your listening skills and your pronunciation. 🤩👍 Charlie Puth and Justin Bieber are quite easy to sing along to.
