I got this for 850€ on release in summer and I use it for work too 😅 7 hours of static elements daily. It's just so good for gaming that I can't go back to other panel techs.
Great video, thank you very much for that. I'm thinking of buying the MSI or the ASUS ROG Swift PG34WCDM. Difficult decision. Where did you get all the beautiful wallpapers and screensavers?
@@TechHunterOfficial You're right. The Asus has very good peak brightness, but otherwise the disadvantages of WOLED. With the MSI, the cable management bothers me. There is currently no test for the MSI for the purpose of maximum nits. Would be my first 21:9. 1600R curvature could also be more pleasant and the MSI is cheaper.
Great video, thanks for the explaining the kvm in depth, no one else did that. I have > 2 devices I’d like to share between work and gaming, Do you know if a small usb hub would work plugged into the usb a ports of the monitor ?
@@TechHunterOfficial awesome thanks, sorry one more q, did you go install some software on the laptop for the kvm to work, saw a video that suggested that might be needed but it was quite old
You won't need to install any software on the laptop. Just connect the USB c cable to the display and to the laptop (assuming that USB port supports power delivery and display) that's all you need
I've had this monitor since day 1 launch. TechHunter is right, it's only USB 2.0 which is a huge downgrade to my previous AW3423DW. However, I'm using a USB hub (adhered to the monitor chassis with thick mounting velcro), and it works fine. One caveat is every once in a while, I will need to disconnect/reconnect the hub from its port in order to "wake up" the signal to everything plugged into the hub.
I got the MAG 175hz version last week as this one isn't available in my country and the one listing I did find was 400 euros more expensive. For the hertz I won't notice and that charging power increase, for which I have actual chargers, I just didn't think it was worth the 400 euro premium. Super happy with the MAG version; genuinely a great monitor.
@@Hersendood I just saw a black friday deal on the mag version for £599 👀 I think at that price it's hard to justify spending more. I don't think my fiancée approve though 😂
The 4K 240Hz panels are way better than this in raw specs. Just up to you if you want to spend more and if you have the hardware to make the most of the monitors ☺
You might have to just take the plunge into ultrawides if you want to know if it's the right monitor type for you. I went ultrawide two years ago and haven't gone back since.

@TechHunterOfficial i figured it didn't. Just wanted someone who knows more to explain to me. Much appreciated. The ultra wide seems nice, but I will probably go with the asus

Ultra wides for the win :)

Wallpaper engine on steam, the best £3 you'll ever spend 😂
I prefer QD OLED glossy to WOLED Matte. So I'd prefer the msi, that's the biggest decision between them! And the price 😅

@@lukeyd13 Good question, I haven't tried it, but I imagine it should be okay. I'm pretty sure it's only usb 2.0 speeds though

I love your username 😂
Beautiful monitor! The stand depth would be too big for my desk though :(
Get a low profile monitor arm 😉
Great video so far 😊

Does the MSI MAG 341CQP have the same display and subpixel layout as the MSI MPG 341CQPX?
@@tylerdobson7868 Yes it does. Both have the 1st gen layout.

Glad i could help!
34inch or 49inch?
34 inch is so much more practical. 49 is great for racing sim or something like that
