If you have empty laundry baskets taken them with you, then when you get to your car load them up. They are easier to carry in the house then boxes and have higher sides and less flimsy.

donna Barnes Walmart has some laundry under 4.00 here and well worth the price as long as they go back in the car after each trip. That is how we have extra ones to do this.
I LOVE Scan and Go and use It every time I’m at Sam’s. I always buy shredded lettuce, cauliflower, brick cheese, and we love their trash bags. In my area Sam’s has the best price and quality on meats. When my kids were teens I used to “close” the kitchen during certain hours. I would buy snacks in bulk but not bring out all of them at once. For instance if The bagel bites come with two separate sleeves then they would only have access to one bag. Two boxes of cereal? One in the kitchen and one tucked away in the pantry. My kids knew not to open any new boxes without checking with me first.
During the week my daughter gets a snack at school and then she can pick 1 snack when she gets home from school! On the weekends she can have 2 snacks a day...usually that’s sometime between lunch and dinner and then one before bed on the weekends! It works for us!!
I always stick around for the long haul! I love your grocery hauls and cook with me videos so much because I can’t eat myself. I get my food fix vicariously by watching you guys!!
I just signed up a week ago and tried scan n go yesterday and it was fantastic! Life changing for sure! My 5 favs would be mix and match chips, Dove bar soap, Digiorno's 3pk, Tyson's chicken breasts and Jack Daniel's pulled pork!

Our kids get a mid morning snack and an afternoon snack. The snacks would typically be one sweet/savoury snack (chips,cookie,bagels,nuggets,sandwich) and one fruit/cut veggies. If they are hungry before bed they can have milk/choc milk/hot chocolate.
We have set times for food about 3 hours between. My kids would snack all day and not eat meals if I didn't have a schedule. This probably won't work for your family but snack time is fruit and/or veggies maybe with something else like gornola bar if they are really hungry.
I do homemade granola bar Monday homemade banana muffin Wednesday crisps on Friday free choice Saturday hot chocolate the other days try having a certain snack per day or have the kids pick 7 snacks for the week and cross of list when they have had it x

I love Sams scan and go! It seriously has made my life so much easier. My husband and I own a laundromat with vending machines we keep up too, so every time we go to Sams we have a flat cart filled full. The scan and go makes shopping so much more simple. Top 5 items: 1. Trash bags 2. Tissue Paper 3. Glazed Donuts from the bakery. Not every Sams has them, but if you can find them, snag them! They are cheap, I think less than $4 for a dozen and sooooo delicious! 4. Fruit 5. Members Mark No rinse floor cleaner. You get a gallon jug and it lasts forever, for $5 you can’t beat it. It smells so good, and doesn’t leave streaks on my hardwoods.

We like Sam’s Club for paper goods, laundry detergent, Downy, Clorox. We don’t buy everything in bulk because we’re empty nesters and we can’t eat a lot of the bulk foods fast enough. We went to WalMart today and spent $400. Not sure what happened there!! We buy our meat from Fry’s because we feel it’s the best. Thanks for another great haul!!! The BEST Red Baron pizza is the “Thin & Crispy Bacon Lovers”. They’re so good if you cook it until real crispy. One of the best frozen pizzas EVER!!!! Sams club for us means dog food, toilet paper, and the huge pack of members mark American cheese. Haha! I recently went there and found a box of 40 Rice Krispie treats assorted flavors for under $6. Great deal! I’m glad sams club isn’t a convenient drive for me or I’d be there every week.

I'm really trying to lay off the Mt. Dew but 3rd shift life makes that a challenge. I bought the fruit punch still working through them before i try a different flavor. Honestly I do not like the taste. I think it taste a bit like medicine (maybe it's a taste you get used to when you get over it not being pop) HOWEVER the energy they give is worth it 100%. One tube gives better results than the bottle of Mt. Dew. Thank you for recommending it!

If my kids were home all day, they got a snack between breakfast and lunch and then one between lunch and dinner. Just something small so it wouldn't spoil their meals. Then of course if they ate a good dinner, then they got dessert or a snack after dinner. I love your grocery hauls.
Red Baron has a breakfast pizza the same size as the ones you got. They have a sausage scramble and a bacon scramble. 1 min 55 seconds in the microwave and they're done. When it gets to 1 minute I add extra shredded cheese on the top and finish cooking. You'd really like them.

Great Haul. I don’t go to Sam’s, but our local grocery store has a Shop and Scan. I bring my own bags, choose my item, scan and bag it. We do stop at the check out, but there are specific lanes for that only, and we pay at that check out. I’ve never waited in line. Love it so much!! And for snacks, my daughter has to have an equal amount of healthy vs not so healthy. So if she wanted some chips, she also has to have the same amount of fruit, or veg. This insures she gets in those fruits and it lessens the amount of unhealthy snacks.

Another convenient thing they have at the grocery store where I work is grocery pick-up. You do your grocery shopping online and someone from the dedicated grocery service does the “shopping” for you. It’s good for everything in the store etc if you want a certain type of apples or DRISCOLL’S STRAWBERRIES! 🍓🍓🍓🍓🎉🎉
Hey Karly, I shopped online using Walmart yesterday and my son picked up my groceries through drive thru pick up. I am bed bound and it was awesome to shop for myself again. I hope other stores will join in and have online grocery pick up too. Walmart also delivers too as I found out through the app.
My 5 go to items are: kool aid jammers or Apple & eve juice boxes, corn tortillas,rotisserie chicken, eggs,shredded cheese and granola bars " Quaker brand" to put in school lunches. My list goes on forever but these items end up in my shopping cart every time I go to Sam's.
Our snack rules are that the kids can have 1 morning snack and 1 afternoon snack. Usually crackers, granola bars or whatever they want really but if they are still hungry in-between those times they are allowed as much fruit as they want. Fruit cups, whole fruits, yogurt is included and string cheese too is included!

For my kids I implemented the rule not to eat a snack an hour before a meal. And I prefer snacks to be either fruit or yogurt. I buy a ton of fresh fruits every Sunday so there’s no issues.
