As per my limited understanding about Dr.SashiTaroor through some of his books and the vast knowledge he has acquired he should have been given due importance and respect to work for the party in a higher position and there are very few people in the CP and he deserve to become our next Prime Minister in case Congress party come to power.My best wishes to him for all the success in the years to come,!
Better do masters with minimum 3 years field experience. Engineers usually work in UNOPS, UNDP. Civil engineer has lot of opportunity in different agency like unhcr in shelter, wash in unicef,etc.

I understand that you find it irritating....but for the guest speaker there is nothing more encouraging and proper to be heard and acknowledged while replying, than being interrupted often and not allowing the guest to speak....it takes immense patience to hear out a person without interrupting....and lastly, it shows respect to the invited guest speaker....
His oratory is very good. But surely, his experience is better than that.
