Not a Storm fan at all, but I'll say it. Hughes is 100% completely underrated as a half. The man deserves to be in the conversation for sure. No off field crap either. Hats off to him.

Bellamy seem to really enjoy Hughes company compared to Grant. Hughes and King should have been captain this year.
Yes, finally someone said it. Grant is incredibly awkward and not in a likeable way like Jake Trbojevic, Hughes is far better suited to this and seems more of a man manager too.
I think Hughes would be my first choice as captain as well. He's the absolute backbone of this team at present.

I think its important to understand grant pulls in the most tackles on average every game he's pretty knocked up when its all said and done so he isn't gonna want to talk all that much during the post game interviews. But yeah I get what you mean Bellamy definatly seems to enjoy Hughes company a bit more.
