Lainey put her hat on her mom's head. The guy next to her mom is her B/F Devlin "Duck" Hodges. He was the QB for the Steelers. The award show was hosted by Reba. She has hosted the show allot. You should react to Wynonna and Lainey Refugee, AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Refugee is from the new album coming called Petty Country, country tribute to Tom Petty.
I was Born, raised and still live in texas. The original version of this song is by little texas and they played in our very tiny town a few years ago and the lead singer gave my sister the guitar pick he was using to give to me. I wasnt able to go. I still got that pick. Ill never get rid of it.
Lainey is so good. I'm happy she has been winning all these awards. I love her voice and the songs she sings are so good. She deserves everyone and more awards.❤
She done an amazing job, like always, paying tribute to the band Little Texas with their song God Bless Texas... She definitely does it her own way and without any regrets...
I've commented this before. The way you enjoy voices and live performances, you have got to do "Sugarland -Tonight-2011 ACM Awards". We will all be happy you did!

The Country Music Association (CMA) is based in Nashville and is the caretaker of the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Academy of Country Music (ACM) is based in Los Angeles. Both are industry trade organizations devoted to promoting country music and are over a half-century old. Back in the 60s, Nashville-based country music had a very smooth, highly produced sound that some people called "countrypolitan". Glen Campbell is a great example. That's what the CMA promoted. The ACM, being on the west coast, focused on a more western style. So, they promoted a more rural sound. Things evolve over time, though. Because the ACM is based in Hollywood, they've always seemed to me to be a little more Hollywood. In the 90s when I paid more attention to awards shows, it seemed like the ACM favored more flashy, pop-sounding artists while the CMAs favored more traditional ones.
They are performing in Frisco TX. When I was growing up Frisco was basically a Dairy Queen on a rural road. We would drive through and get our "mixers" after having to drive to get our booze LOL
She did get the ultimate 'award' fir any country singer. An invitation to join the Grand Ole Opry. Reba presented it ro her on the finale of The Voice..
@BrittReacts if you like this, you need to watch your Auntie Reba’s performance of her new song “I Can’t” from the award show as well. I think you’ll love it!!!
I would love to go to a lainey wilson concert with you! She is incredible. I share your thoughts and genuine blessings for her. She had a hard struggle getting started living in a camper and denied a record deal too often😢. She reminds me of Jennifer Nettles (sugarland) ❤❤❤❤❤
Theo interviewed her and she talked about her booty. Her and Theo are both from Louisiana. She lived by herself in a camper trailer in Nashville for a year(?) before she got her break.
Okay my friend... I'm your newest subscriber! A couple of requests? Deep Purple, Child In Time... live. AC/DC Hells Bells and... The Marshall Tucker Band, Can't You See... live. Love classic rock. These re all the songs my father played in his old pickup truck! Thanks. ✌🏾
She did co-write the song (Hang Tight Honey), about the amount of traveling she has been doing for the last few years. It could be, and I believe it probably is at least partially to/for her boyfriend Devlin "Duck" Hodges, a former NFL quarterback. I would think that she takes the dog on tour with her. Her first ACM nomination(s) she was in the same position as Glenn Campbell, Brad Paisley, and one other female who I can't remember her name. Only the four of them have had 6+ nominations the first year they were nominated. Even Taylor Smith can't equal that. Lainey lived in a travel trailer for 3 years when she first moved to Nashville, she didn't get a publishing job until she had been there for about 7 or 8 years. Her first number 1 was more than 10 years after she got there.
I'm there too ... have had booty envy and worked hard in 90s when I was younger ro get but firmed up but short of surgery (& I was too wimpy) just have to appreciate it from afar...& glad my daughter didn't inherit mine😂 was more blessed & doesn't seem to care so I guess it's that old, u want u don't have 😊
Brit, you HAVE to react to Cody Johnson’s new one “Dirt Cheap”. Do the live version from the Grand Ol Opry, it has the best audio quality. (I’d stay away from the ACM performance, the audio quality is a little bit choppy)
Hey Britt, I’m a subscriber, but I’m not a Patreon. I can’t afford it. I’m too old. But I know you love 70s music, but can you do a reaction video to hang on sloopy By Rick Derringer from 1965 the year I was born first year of high school was 1978 so yeah the 70s definitely the greatest era of music please Britt

Lainey is so good. I'm happy she has been winning all these awards. I love her voice and the songs she sings are so good. She deserves everyone and more awards.❤
