PERPETUAL PROTOCOL - Next Level In Decentralized Trading? (Layer 2, Uniswap V3)

So what is Perpetual Protocol all about? What are some of the improvements that come with the recently launched version 2 of the protocol? How does it make use of Uniswap V3? And what are perpetual futures in the first place? You’ll find answers to these questions in this video.
Perpetual Protocol is a DeFi project with the main goal of creating the best, most accessible and most secure decentralized exchange for perpetual futures.
Perpetual Protocol was founded in 2019 by a small team of startup founders and software engineers. Initially called “Strike”, the project pivoted to perpetual futures and changed its name in the summer of 2020.
The first version of the protocol was launched on the xDai network in December 2020. Version 2 of the protocol named Curie after the famous scientist and a Noble Prize winner - Marie Curie, launched on Optimism on the 31st of November 2021.
The design of Perpetual Protocol that we’re going to explain later is extremely interesting as it leverages the DeFi “money legos” ethos to both build upon other already existing DeFi projects as well as provide building blocks for other protocols in the future.

Could you make a video that has a visual explanation of the Curve wars/CVX token and all of the staking mechanisms/LP's/bribing/guages/stablecoin protocols and DAO's accumulating CVX in that maelstrom? It's confusing to read about but I get the sense that it's really important going forward for DeFi. Magnus Capital has a two-part explanation published on Medium that seems very detailed but it's a struggle to really understand all of the moving parts...a visual guide would be a godsend

Oasis Cipher paratime launches in Q1 2022, it may take some time to see a perpetual futures dApp specifically but this is where you should be monitoring for private-enabled defi.

A stupid question maybe but i am new to this, however i do yieldfarming but do not understand there calculations.... if i have 1000 ADA in a yieldfarm with 12% APY reward its about 12% of 1000 right? Why do they say that 12% will come to a reward of 4 ADA's..... even with 10% rewards is from 1000 ADA a good 100 ADA, 10 x 100 = 1000 or am i reading it wrong.

What’s the point of futures when you can just trade spots? Derivatives played a big roll during recession 2008.
It's explained in the video, mainly shorting and leverage. Without shorting there is no proper price discovery.
Any tool can be misused. This doesn't mean no one should use it :)

Honestly I appreciate you and your content < Technical Analysis is good but I find It truly baffling that major crypto youtubers just look mostly at pure T.A and completely ignore the bigger narrative of why BTC is pumps/pumped and why the future outlook will be even rosier than it seems. It's kinda irresponsible to ignore the fact that each ETF launch so far has caused a major dump at the peaks of BTC. We were already on shaky footing with historically low volume and almost pure whale pumps,narrowly avoiding a long-term bear market. More emphasis should be put into day tradiing as it is less affected by the unpredictable nature of the market. I have made over 12 btc from day tradng with Bradley James Holly insights and charts. He been one step ahead of other analysis..
These forks are getting out of hand 😒 I've look at dozens of them and they're all the same. The only ones worth holding are GamerDAO, KlimaDAO and the original OlympusDAO. Don't waste your money on any of these other shitforks.
