So nice to post this. I am from Florence, Al and met Georgette while she was in college. Just a very nice girl, so much like her mom. Tammy means so much to us. and I am sure to so many others. In my book the Greatest Female Country Singer of all time. R.I.P. Tammy we will always love you. You touched our Hearts like noone else.
Thanks Mark for keep[ing these up of my favorite country misic star of all time Tammy Wynette! I love her and thanks to you we can still enjoy her videos.
Thanks so much Mark for providing these superb videos of the 1st Lady of Country Music. I love her to pieces and you make it fantastic to look at and listen as often as we like. Were it not for the jack**s she was married to she may still grace our radios with hit real country music. Thank you so very, very much!
@cindyloui Agreed my dear! Well said and she will, I hope, she will be with us through music. Keep her songs and interviews alive forever. Thanks to all those who are lucky enough to present them to us!
Mark I hate to be a greedy Gus here, but do you have her singing Stand by Your Man from the same show as Blue Christmas with the Desert Storm troops onstage with her ? That was a poignant moment for me as I had only seen it for the first time shortly after the 9/11 attacks
She is wrong, either this was December 1956 and he had had 5 #1 single hits and 2 #1 albums (not a couple of hits), when she says she heard them rehearse at the second floor, or this was in 1955, but at any rate this could not be Christmas 1957, as he had already moved to Graceland.
She’s such a lady , I do miss her long hair(wigs) she suited them snd looked much younger snd sexier, but, after decades of wearing wigs she must have felt such a freedom, too bad she just didn’t let her own hair grow long Everyone to their own taste, I used to love my hair long but that’s changed to, now, I like it short, not as short as hers, but long hair gets irritating after time

I think Tammy Wynette went thru more hair styles than any other woman in country music.
She a former Hair Stylist that why.
She looks better with long hair.
May God bless Tammy to accept the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Tammy's in heaven now she's dressed in white and she's in God's vocal band and on the top tier with other greats.
