You guys should do a video on how to make it an everyday look something more subtle yet stunning. We’ve seen this technique from you guys a bunch of times now.
I bought the mimosa sunrise & sangria sunset (orange and pink) & I absolutely love it! So at first I was hesitant because of practicality, because let’s face it... these looks displayed are very editorial HOWEVER, if you use a light hand, you can truly dictate how daring you want to be. The products blend amazingly well Into eachother & I utilize them for a blush/highlight combo on my face and shadow on my lids... the pigmentation lasts all day & once you get the hang of it it’s truly stunning. I highly recommend the orange & pink if you’re on the fence, you won’t regret the purchase.

Understand that FENTY BEAUTY by RIHANNA is about new, bold, refreshing, out of "normal" makeup. So please, if is not your type of make up, cool!!! Glad I stumbled upon this because I wanted a more in depth tutorial after watching you highlight do Nikkie's makeup. The technique gives that glow I always use to see in Korean dramas and photoshoots but didn't know how to acheive it.
They are pushing this higlighting technique way too much, I think people shouldn't buy such an expensive highlighter that would only work for photoshoots just because they love Rihanna
The highlighters are beautiful. But realistically, people can't go out like public like this. It looks like a birthmark, a bruise, fish scales, or like you got beat up. It's not worth it.

the magenta/orange duo is so much prettier in person. it honestly is a beautiful metallic blush. idk about the other shades, but if you like blushes with glitter, this will look gorg on you. it can be much subtler than this. the video truly doesnt do it justice.
The first two can definitely be used as blush for those complaining and the other duos can easily be used as highlights. You can be super creative or simplify it and be minimalistic and just use the highlight wherever you want to. It’s makeup it washes off have fun go crazy or be subdued and take the easy route ITS ALL PERSONAL PREFERENCE. I would love to buy the orange and purple duo to use the orange as a highlight and the purple as a blush because that’s my preference but you can easily rock any of these looks or just do whatever you want and put it on the high points of your face do WHAT CATERS TO YOUR CREATIVITY LEVEL.
Not gonna lie, I was basic and just did highlighter on my cheekbones. I saw a video where a mua went ham on Riri cheekbones, temples and ears and like the sheep I am... BAMBAMBAMBITCH
If "I" were to go with any of the three looks, it would be the LAST one! The third look looked more realistic and wearable for everyday. I can see the others on a night where you need LOTS of drama and statement (like Rihanna at the Met Gala in 2017) - but it's not practical for everyday. Looks one and two would also look more wearable if the colors didn't mimic bruising on the skin. Reds, pinks, blues, and purples tend to look like a bruise on the skin when applied with that technique using that much product. The last (3rd) look was very nice because it was the same technique, just less product and less of the colors that could make the skin appear bruised. I'm gonna try it, but apply it as just a very, very subtle highlight. Just enough to catch the sun at the right angle. As always, Priscilla Ono killed it! And Fenty Beauty kills it every time by stepping out of the box and pushing the boundaries of what everyone else thought was possible. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
These "highlighters" are pretty but not practical. They look more like eyeshadow. Problem is it's a hella expensive eyeshadow for only 2 colors per package. Damn I'm torn I want to support riri but this collection...idk 😕
If you decide to use them as eyeshadows only they should last a very long time before you use all of the product.. so if you look at it that way, it's not that expensive I guess

Just because the brighter colors look and feel like they are eye shadows for you because of how bright they are doesn’t mean it wouldn’t work -as a highlighter on someone a lot darker than you.Each highlights has a lighter shade then you have a bright color to add if you want a dramatic effect. I work at Sephora and we have al different kinds of shades of girls. Imagine just a basic highlight that would not work on my deeper complexion girls. For me I chose the mimosa one I could wear the orange gold as a soft highlight and the pink as a blush and shadow. For my worker who is deep complexion she wears it as an actual highlight and it looks great on her. The lighter pale skin girls at my job likes the icy blue cause it suits them. Keep in mind Rihanna didn’t just make this for light skin girls or medium skin girls. It’s for all types and can be used in different ways on anyone.
I think people don't understand that it's SUPPOSED to be something different than usual. You don't have to go out like this if you don't want to. You can applly a smaller amount of these highlighters to make it look more 'natural'. I personally prefer natural highlights but I think it's cool that they give you new ideas and looks that you can create. I agree that it's a little intense, but some people may like it.
I want just one person with this skin tone to use the sandcastle and mint'd mojito duo in a normal way. Sandcastle is a perfect highlighter for me but I'm unsure about minted mojito and I want someone to use it properly just for once and not avant-garde
