Nice hunt 👏 a question for you, have you got a question that you've always wanted to be asked but haven't? and a question for everyone, do you all sign your Benjamin bunnies but releasing them? 🤘
Great video and some nice finds today Lafta! I’ve got a question for you. I got two £20 bags of what I suspect are mostly fake £2 coins. They are all 1998-2000 and look fairly dodgy. The gold colour looks a bit weird, they feel very flat and seem too new to be these dates. I can usually tell quite easily but not with these and compared with my collection of definite fakes, they are quite different. Do you have any similar experience of this or idea about what they could be? Thanks a lot in advance
Only 4 to go till 10k ( at the time of writing ) congrats on that. My question is...do you think the mint deliberately sends out a few die rotations and error coins, just to get more people interested in collecting, that way they can add the newer coins, ie King Charles' coins, into circulation?
New collectors mentality. You will change your mind once you’ve been collecting for a while. There are literally millions of most of the coins out there. Me having a few in my house is a drop in the ocean. Happy hunting!
To an extent. I know what you mean. But it’s supply and demand too, they must be rare to be able to maintain that value. And let’s be honest, we know they are, how many have we all found? Lol
@@LAFTA true and I respect the circulation strikes value. My biggest concern is the proof and restrike versions are pushing their perceived values even though they have no connection with their circulation strikes and very little difference in mintage with prior similar issues. Just grinds my gears a bit.
Some great finds LAFTA ....hoping I'll find something good this week. Been a while, but keeping the faith. What are your favourite non circulating £2 and 50p coins?
Another 3 lovely finds for the book not forgetting the other Keepers Tittlemouse and The NHS 😊
Two very nice keepers. 😊Mrs Tittlemouse 🎉and Olympic Cycling.🎉 😊
Thanks Karen. Got to be happy with those two!
@@LAFTA Yes, I was also happy earlier in the week when I got a Triathlon 50p.😊
Always nice to add to the 📖 and some really nice keepers too 😊
Great stuff LAFTA 👍🏻
Great finds bud 👍 always love to find a Olympics 50p 🎉 great hunt as always 👍
Nice hunt and new additions can’t get mad at that congrats on 10k you’ll hit it in no time💪🏼💪🏼thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Thank you brother. Hoping you’re well 😎
A few low minted finds and some book fillers. Can't ask for much more (apart from a Kew and more Olympics! 😁). 👍
A BP 2018, Olympic and NHS , two book 📖 finds in total makes it a very successful hunt LAFTA 😊👌
Agreed! Thanks Jude 😁

40 to go, but thanks! Haha. Will answer your question best time out 😄
Found my first 50p salmon coin yesterday.
I’m very jealous. Seems to be a distinct lack of them in my area so far!!
@@LAFTA Well I've only found the one and I don't coin hunt in my job I recieve about 10 50ps a day at best and thats its.
Royal mint state collect if required but value is what on coin. Upto collectors to pay more than face value once the coin is out of circulation
Can U at some point show us the whole shield on the coins
How much is an Olympics basketball worth?
£3 give or take depends how good condition of course.
Why completing 3-4 or more books robbing others of the opportunity of completing their first one 😊?

The Kew value is news and social media based hype. Won't ever buy one myself.
