Your video helped me to use Excel with Siemens PLC simulation. Thanks! I'm using the Advanced tags to display data in Excel cells. I tried to write PLC data to Excel cells without advanced tags but couldn't make it work.
@@electricalautomation I think if I see data in the Quick Client, then I should be able to see the data in Excel. I had no problem to get data to Excel from Siemens S7-300.
Hello, what kind of version of excel was used in this video? I am trying to do same, but quality is always bad, even after several minutes. All the same in KEPs, and Kep's conf. Macros conf in excel also 1:1 to this video. Excel 2019. 10 pages manual was done in Excel 2007.
Hi My excel is Office Professional Plus 2016. You could also check two important info and setting from the video 3:12 at th-cam.com/video/pBhcizo5aYI/w-d-xo.html , and 2:35 DDE channel name at th-cam.com/video/pBhcizo5aYI/w-d-xo.html. That 10 pages include a lot important information.
I don't think WPS works for this case. But you can check if KEPServerEX support WPS. Regarding directly communication to Excel and SQL. Please check the videos in my channels.
Likely it is the software problem, because the quick client is communicating with Kepware server. Please make sure the software is installed correctly, also turnoff any anti-virus software and firewall.

I think you are having issue on the PLC Simulation. Please try to use the real hardware

hello, when i use the quick client it says "bad connection" and i dont know why is this. I'm working with Tia portal v16 and S7-1200 thanks! :)
