I can relate to the point about personal understanding being a "journey." God found me when I was in my mid-20's; but for the next 50 years I continued to believe in evolution because that is what I was taught in college. Then I examined the data for the first time, initially the geologic column, and quickly realized that the evidence for a global flood is overwhelming.
