The way she sings it just cracks right through the stone around my heart….. and I love it…. This song carries such a special meaning to me as I would listen to it when I was down and my hubby was asleep (we live in different states rn) and it always makes me think of him with how he was always treated when he was growing up. I never want him to feel that pain anymore and I gave him my heart, my soul, and my word that I’d be the to constantly keep him happy…. My eardrums havent been tingling for a long time, this songs reminds me what it is like. There is plenty of remakes to this masterpiece but most of them just a rap spin-off. Enisa´s deep and clear, sonorous voice give this song whole another storytelling feeling. This is what I think of when song is being sing with a heart.
