Great intro to the Black Hornet Spy Drone, But please do another video show casing the drone's "spy" attributes. Perhaps, pop over some bushes and serval a picnicking family - show the entourage, and PPE, take a photo of the Dad kingpin, and return to base. That's your mission should you decide to accept it...
You must be one of those Europoors who uses decimal points to denote the thousands separator, and then you use a fucken comma to denote your sub-dollar cents... I'm an Aussie, and we do it like the Americans like this '$199,000.00', because of all the things the Yanks do differently, THAT is one of the things that actually makes sense... Have had the brushed motor version for a year, camera isn't much, but it was and still is a good flyer. Got this one for an enhanced flying experience. Not disappointed, this is a hoot to fly!
That Eachine one I thought I ordered turned out to be a RC ERA 127 Sentry. Came with a 'box' wrapped box, want to cut the picture and glue it to the actual box - something extra. Has space for extra batteries which I bought. Cool little helli!
I would love to see you do a series where you built one of these. Similar to how there are lots of videos for DIY FPV drones, but it seems there are very few for doing a DIY RC Heli.
The actually military one is $195,000 for two and you never have to pay for spare parts, because they are free once you buy one and you get everything you need with it.

I used a cheap telescope tripod with a homemade case to fit the phone or any size phone basically as my own phone mount for drones when they don't have a phone deal on or if other people want to be seeing what I see
That spy drone is a great idea if only it had a gimbal and a phone holder. I think it's okay if they charged a few more dollars for that option. Just my opinion 👍🏽
The military version is called the Black Hornet Nano, and is somewhat smaller than the one here. The Black Hornet has a FLIR camera for heat imaging, not just an optical camera. It also has GPS. On the other had, the RC ERA C127AI is certainly not capable as the Black Hornet, but it is a fraction of the price. It would not surprise me to see the the Ukrainians using it with a commercial monicle display like the Vufine VUF-110 Wearable Display, and gettting a lot of use out of it in urban combat situations. They are experts at taking civilian drone technology and utilizing it to defeat the Russians.
You can buy a $2 vr goggles that go on your head with your phone inside it to see the wifi tv picture . But the latency ( or delay in seeing the picture later than live as it happens ) can because of the second ir so of delay cause you to hit a doorway and not see the crash until a second or two later you hear the crash . That is what makes people use analog fpv . The fun thrill of happy flying remote control by live video feed through goggles or monitors .
From the little bit I've seen on YT the Machete looks like it handles really well, The new Team Corally Kagama not sure of the spelling, lol It looks really awesome also, I've seen it launching 100 - 150ft and it took a hell of a beating!!! I was really impressed....
I think anyone with electronics knowledge could make a few tweaks to it install a higher resolution camera and improve the range if they put their mind to it

Hi, I have just some basic questions for you.First, 🎉 I've been watching your videos for a while. Not only do you make it fun to fly. But you seem to be super knowledgeable with a lot of rc stuff, specifically helicopters and drones. And you talk in layman's terms which is what I need...lol Ok, here's some of my questions. Some may get answered together because they may mean the same thing. Ok, the spy drone you are flying in this video. Since the first one came out there has been several other variations. Here goes. I've seen the C127 and the C128. I do know they make an AI which those I understand and have seen videos of them looking at various items. But what is the difference between these two ? Whats the difference between a brushless motor and not. What does it mean when they say no aileron. What does it mean when they say 6 axis. I understand about the different camera lenses. I understand about the one button takeoff and land. Battery low sensor. Obstacle ovoidence system. I think that's it. If I missed something please let me know. So mainly what I've listed above. And actually I've seen other brands similar to these. But I think the 127 128 are the main ones out there...thanks for your time. Bill W.
Thanks for the kind words! I believe the main difference between them is their brushed vs brushless motors. Some software performance upgrades too, I’m sure. For a detailed explanation of brushed va brushless, a good TH-cam search will thoroughly answer that but the main thing you should understand is cost / performance / lifetime. Brushed are cheaper and generally don’t last as long. Consider hundreds of flights vs thousands or tens of thousands. Also, brushless motors are much more capable of higher performance in almost all cases, except for lower speeds where higher torque is needed, like in crawlers. I really hope this helps! camera is cr@p. I took mine apart to shove in a cheap fpv cam/vtx but lost interest. optical flow? does nothing. I have a little eachine heli that flies better and is pretty much the same bird but longer runtime.
There were moments off camera that we took to make sure she was ok. Only when Abby gave the go ahead did we continue. I offered to leave, take a break, all sorts of things but I certainly didn’t push to continue the video. That was Abby’s idea. Please don’t assume the worst of people without knowing the full story. 🙏💯❤️⚓️

Ummm 🤔 , mostly the price 😂 closer to 200k The military comes with EVERYTHING, screen, parts, bag/box, a complete spare copter , better video and distance.. and a total service/replacement package ... Still , WAY over priced, but that's our government, buy something that really costs a couple grand and "shuffle the remainder of the price around" , just NOT where it's actually needed.

There is a huge difference between making a toy drone that can fly for 10-15 minutes in almost no wind, and making a military grade unmanned system that flies for 30+ minutes out to several thousand meters, in 25-30 knot winds and extreme temperatures, day and night, and sends back both regular and thermal video. Plus a bunch of other features the military requires that toy makers don't have to think about. It takes years of research and tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars. So there are good reasons for a higher price point (although as mentioned, the 200k is way, way off).

Plus a bunch of other features the military requires that toy makers don't have to think about. It takes years of research and tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars.
So there are good reasons for a higher price point (although as mentioned, the 200k is way, way off).
This stinks. Nothing about it makes sense.
