@RyuuAran thanks! I like the 6 modules version because all the points are identical and perfect (the 1 sheet version has one side a little different, with flaps not connected)
Thanks Jo :) I love your tutorial. No need for sound. I see a lot of comments relating to the same fold area. To those of you who are getting stuck in the 6:50-7:40 range. Try pausing at 7:33 to see how Jo uses the left thumb while closing. And 7:38-ish shows a side view of the fold. You can always pause if you need time to catch up. And note that this is worked in 4 identical sections, so if you can't quite see the first section you will have 3 more examples before the video moves on.
I've never tried origami until now. I needed a 'paper' star for my very small christmas tree. Just made one and I'm very proud of it, thanks for the guide!
ive tried this five years ago, i was suffering in the middle and the quality of the video didn't helped me but today, i finally did it! btw, can you do a remake in better quality, that would help a lot of people :3
Beautiful design as always, I really like all kinds of #origami #stars This looks advanced to me, but still, I hope maybe I will be able to fold it one day without my star looking like an octopus with a hiccup! lol ^_^
Do you prefer the 6 modules version? Why? By the way, I love your work and your tutorials, you're an excellent origami man and I want to be like you! :D
Cara to começando agora e nem sei qual é o melhor papel pra fazer origami, você pode me dizer um tipo que seja bom, por favor, ^ ^ Muito bonito seu trabalho. Prabéns.
To all that complain, you need to know the basics and advanced folds of origami first otherwise yes, it is hard to make. Just pause when you need to, it helps.
Hey everyone! I really like jonakashima's idea to fold and share a tutorial, but I think most of us agree he doesn't always explain clearly or even at all. I am going to make my channel have origami tutorials with simple, to intermediate tutorials that explain quick enough, but are still well explained :) you don't have to check it out, but once I film a few videos I'll set them up!
Jo, it would be useful if you considered putting at least some narration and I would, as well as others, appreciate if you filmed from a different angle as it is quite unclear to see every fold...I mean I have been through so many sheets and I would really appreciate if you considered this!
I love this version omega star. Can I ask for your permission wheather I can do a video Omega star, this one piece version in my language Vietnamese. I came to your Facebook link but I dont know how to message you to send you a link if its ok or not. Since it only allow follow and nowhere i can talk to you. Please let me know. Thank you.
HELP GUYS. When I finish the cube (12:00) and begin to fold in to "sharpen" the star, there one side that is loose. What do I do with it? How the hell am I suppose to fix it in place???
lol.... i know how to do it. My first time i did it was in 1991. Its not difficult that alot of repetition. U need to fold those line first before u start folding into shape.
can u remake the video its to bright hard to see for my little daughter with eyes problems she says all she can see is bright light if you could remake this video that would wonderful thanks
Like he is in the need of getting to toilet very fastly he is folding as hell in his older videos so that we have to pause-play-pause-play the video every 3 seconds sometimes to notice what he is doing ´O.´o ...turned a 17:02min video of folding into 43min for me to finish this simple model -.-
@RyuuAran
thanks!

@Chench07 The non-modular has a little problem at one side: 16:10
The modular is perfect and also has uniform layers
@dodgedodger para começar o sulfite até que é bom
Melhor usar outros papéis especiais (e mais caros!) quando conseguir dobrar origamis mais complexos
I am impressed!! I can’t see myself doing it with one piece. I think I’ll keep doing this one with 6 pieces I did enjoy the video 0:15
ive tried this five years ago, i was suffering in the middle and the quality of the video didn't helped me
but today, i finally did it!
btw, can you do a remake in better quality, that would help a lot of people :3

Jo, in your origami tutorials could you please put a rating on how hard the origami is in the description? It would help a lot.
If we have origami paper, what side should be up at the beggining? The colored one or the white one? Thanks.
Cara to começando agora e nem sei qual é o melhor papel pra fazer origami, você pode me dizer um tipo que seja bom, por favor, ^ ^
Muito bonito seu trabalho. Prabéns.
But its not necessary to watch the whole thing... in the end there are many repetitive instructions
