Hyderabad and urban areas voted for BRS. Rural Telangana voted for Congress. This is exactly what happened in Karnataka- Bengaluru and urban areas voted for BJP. Rural areas voted for congress. Congress could not deliver anything in KA and has stalled all BLR infrastructure projects. Same is going to happen to Hyderabad. Congress is an anti-development party and has bought rural votes with stupid promises. Irresponsible voting. TS will suffer - guaranteed. One thing that may happen is BRS, BJP and independents may join together to get rid of the congress and form a pro-development government.
At least middle class people can buy own homes..not req any new development these real estate mafia will increases the price

BJP is no match for BRS. In both development and governance wise. Loosing BRS is an major loss for Hyderabad and Telangana. The damages Congress that'll happen in the next 5 years will be irreparable.
Also BJP is just a party with RSS ideology with extreme nationalism and anti muslim and anti minority activities. All they did in Karnataka is remove our reservation, ban hijab, ban halal food. Atleast congress won't do such a thing for Karnataka

However Telangana’s growth will reduce from a hot 13% to typical Congressi growth rates of 6-7%. Expect a lot of corruption, scams, massive infrastructure delays, bad policies and increased crime. All that is happening in KA.
As per SRDP funds were allocated by previous government, now they will be diverted to national elections and poll guarantees. Both bangalore and hyderabad development will suffer.

will dearly miss our KTR anna. Politics aside, who would take so much personal interest in improving city infra, be it cycling track, hanging bridge, skywalks, SRDP, new link roads, parks, bringing new IT investment, what not. no wonder even though only 47% voted in Hyderabad and surroundings, they resoundingly voted in favor or BRS (not building regularisation scheme). BJP also would have been good (double-engine factor) especially for rail and Metro infra. I doubt Cong will have any money left to spend on development of the city after doling out the freebies. Ideally, KTR should be made the Mayor or GHMC, which should be further expanded to include surrounding MCs and municipalities and aid in development of HMDA region
Thokkalo improvement, when it's not affordable to live in Hyderabad even at 25-30km away from inner city. Look at real estate mafia, how much they earned by selling government land in areas without any basic necessities, everywhere it's apartments - then after few years, the water table will be depleted similar to bengaluru, etc. Every development in Hyderabad is done on the basis of "Speculation" and "black money".
Don't just be happy that development is happening but also think if you can afford it or not.
