its not 1 bit its 1 byte...1 byte means 8 bit....bit means 0 and 1 ....bit has 2 value and char size is 8bit.....so 2 to the 8= 256

There are two types of INTEGER
1. Short (2 Bytes)
2. Long (4 Bytes)
By default compiler consider 2 Bytes

Int =4 byte not 2 byte sir

There are two types of integer. Long & short. Long int take 4 bytes while short int take 2 bytes. By default short int are int.
