- Verdon Gorge has been called the Grand Canyon of France and is undeniably one of its most beautiful rivers. We had a great time rafting this family-friendly river. Though the rapids weren't too extreme, the tremendous beauty made it an unforgettable experience.

Magnificent! The flow is so fast even in what looks like relatively shallow areas. Water must be very cold! This was a terrific video...even the under water views. LOL

There was 4 other guys on the boat. 2 French girls were on the trip and they had never rafted before so they screamed on every little rapid.
