Nauticat 525 "MERELLE"

The Nauticat 525 is an evolution of the popular 515. The 525 is known as a “pilothouse sailing yacht” as opposed to a traditional motor sailor. This is an important distinction and one that we fully agree with having test sailed MERELLE with her owner. The Nauticat 525 retains the benefits of the strong heavy build but the Sparkman & Stevens designed hull allows her to perform well under sail. It should be noted that the hull was initially designed for Nautor Swan and then later was used by Nauticat.
MERELLE is a superb example of the 525 which has seen little use, as a result the interior joinery is in superb condition. She has seen recent investment including new paint, rig, sails and upholstery among other upgrades. Well equipped with a generator, water maker, reverse cycle air conditioning and independent diesel heating for those wishing to explore colder climates. She is the perfect liveaboard or yacht for long distance cruising and adventures. Lying in Valencia, viewing is highly recommended and by appointment only.
