That is a heck of a design. I totally agreed with you, I wonder how long it will last and such. but man, it looks sturdy. Keep us posted on this please!

Now that you've had thus brush for 4 weeks, what do you think of it? Does is clean the grates well? I'm partial to the Weber grill brush, but would happily move to something like this if it actually works well.

Thanks for watching! I still not 100% sold on this, it has it limitations with not working on cast iron grates and expanded metal grates

That's unfortunately what I figured. Their marketing campaign has been extremely suspect and feels like a product that was brought out specifically to act as a holiday gift and nothing else. Thanks for the honest take on it!

Tom I expect the usual honest test from you. I hope that the Canadian dollar exchange means $25-30

Thanks for watching Paul! Been told by others that it’s like $85. US

Well designed Tom but a bit pricey. I’d like to see how it works on a dirty grill. Thanks for sharing Tom! Cheers.

If it came with a box of replacement springs/scrapers that would be nice

As clean as your grills are this thing will last forever for you Tom😂 That price tag hurts though.

I don’t see this working on expanded metal grates.

Too bad your grates weren’t more dirty, hard to tell from the video how well it worked.

Best thing and safest thing I
have found is a crumbled up piece of aluminum foil...

For that price I guess I will stick with the way I'm doing it now with a ball of aluminum foil

Make a great weapon! Like to see a video on a dirty grill!

I like it, probably buy it…but the sound it makes scraping the grates is horrific!
Eh, I’ll take the sound for a safe, clean grill.

Tom…..not so sure I’d pay for that brush…too costly…..it may be built well but does it really work well?

It's actually $89 USD but $99 CAD. Still alot of $$$

Well, yeah, but $100? Thanks Tom.

Looks like it works great. But $100, that’s way too high priced.

It seems like a sturdy brush BUT $100 for a grill brush seems ridiculous to me.

To be honest Tom, I really don't think that it's worth buying even if it was $10... Just my opinion...

I'll pass. No doubt a wire from one of those wire type brushes can be a serious problem. I'm not doubting the hazard, but I'm curious of the mechanics of getting that wire from the brush into the food? If one of your subscribers know of a video demonstrating that, I'd love to see it. If a grill grate is as clean as Tom's are, I have to wonder how one of these wires makes it past the cleaning process. Just like a lot of other accidents, there seems to be some degree of negligence involved. All that being said, if there is a tool of method that totally eliminates the risk, it's the smart thing to do. I think there are more economical options.
As my departed Uncle used to tell me, "In order to make safety last, you must make it first."

Hello! @tedz Thank you for the comments! The small bristles stick on the grill and then to the food and unfortunately ingested. We designed a system that adjusts to the grill with spring bristles 700x larger made out of stainless spring steel. They will not corrode and flexible', its very hard to cut through one by friction and assembled through the cast aluminum frame. As for pull tests they are so high that we do not register on the scale of safety testing for standard bristle brushes.

@@boyerbrushinc I feel like it would be way better if you added more springs for more surface area contact for scraping.
