I have found rich metal nodes in groups of 1-3 in the green zone, they are much harder to spot in the ASA form due to aberration lighting, just keep your eyes peeled.

For CP you can also use a frog to eat the light bugs and they give a pretty decent amount of cp.

Hey mate, the metals nodes that used to be at the little lake below the portal (also on island near glowtail cave), are they just gone or are they looking different now? I haven't played it properly yet but i noticed no ones mentioning them anymore. It used to be a great metal starter spot.

The hives are mainly on the large trees around Fertile Lake, you can also find them on the ground around the ruins north of Fertile Lake
