    Just thinking about the repair costs makes me question whether any construction company would consider this. I am going to be a licensed truck and heavy duty mechanic in a few years and I look forward to seeing what new things will be coming to this industry.
    Edit: Scratch the truck mechanic thing, I'm going to be a computer engineer.

    This is what I will love now the independent tracks I always hated the old ones on rough terrain cause it was so bumpy

    Maravilha! Compensação e transmissão de pêso, para se evitar acidentes. Sapatas independentes, que corrigem o declive,e imperfeições e ondulações do solo, que evita acidentes. Perfeito.🇧🇷

    I don’t want automatic parts moving on my machine, without my authority or knowledge. Machine placement is what determines what kind of an Operator is in control of the machine. An excavator makes and clears its own path. It works from the project start, backwards to the end. It needs material brought in continuously from the rear of the machine. The concept wasn’t properly addressed concerning its actual function on the job. It’s a very beautiful concept, but the brains on the machine, is in the head of the Operator, not in in the body, or controls. Retired in 07!

    All of these ideas are now totally possable . Its only a matter of time to see who builds the first excavator with indivual track units on an x type undercarrage . Id certainly love to try one when its launched . To see how it compares to current models .

    with all the additional features i belive i wont be that fuel economic. Like while your digging the rams in the boom and stick are working and then youve got more rams in the back working so itd bog the motor right down thus making it suck heaps of fuel

    How can '' wheels" (I dont know how do they called) be so flexible and at the same time give enough power to the excavator?

    • @faszikellemeszene
      @faszikellemeszene 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are called crawlers. This flexibility thing must work like the steering or the suspension system from a vehicle but I'm not an engineer so I'll leave it to the professionals to explain if this would be possible or not.

    Neat concept, but looks like expensive to work on at $120+ an hr. From an operators/ owner POV looks like a lot expensive things are going to get broke or fail in the field due to over complication of a work machine.

    I'm a heavy machinery mechanic .. although there is some cool and good ideas there but I don't see that happening anytime soon as in reality these machines works in a very harsh environments that's exactly why they are built like tanks shiny plastic and rubber has no chance against muds and rocks

    This is something that will never see the light of day. What company that buys excavators care about glass changing colors that is something that would mess up in a year. Grading companies care about reliability. The only good thing on this excavator is the independent tracks that is a excellent idea and that is the next step for big excavators

    • @arunmohanan555
      @arunmohanan555 5 ปีที่แล้ว
