- PLEASE READ: (lyrics below)- LOVE this song! :) This is based on the hidden plot- for those who don't like that, don't read the symbolism- just hopefully enjoy the vid. :) story: Christine is torn - she wants to experience a life of heaven (bliss) with her king (both of them are rulers of music and the opera house, their kingdom), but those at the opera house wish for her to side with them, in order to put an end to his reign. She walks alone, dwelling on all that's expected of her and all that has gone on before and sees the angel with the scarred right side of the face, thinking of her Angel. All Christine wants is the promise of their life and love together, their music to again surround them, what first brought them together and makes her spirit soar when she is with him, fulfilling her role as his queen. Her Angel has made her into what she is and she is loyal only to him. She had hoped the vendetta was done ("I thought this would be the end") and later tells Raoul she hopes he'll understand (she will not betray Erik), then turns to the one who is her reason for existence....music notes - surrounding them, showing part of who the are...Blue coloring music (who they are)...white flashes - the light, fades or fading or black flashes (the darkness- Phantom taking over or trying to exert control - also when it goes from blue to normal... but normal to blue is them calling to one another or becoming lost in each other and their music) - At the part "curse or virtue"- I showed the white mask, which in mask symbolism means "wicked ruler" - she removes it to try to help him - and she removes the black mask (reaching out) which in symbolism means evil villain (and symbolizes the dark spirit that had taken over the opera house, deceiving him and trying to destroy everyone through him - the Phantom (another word for spirit). Erik wants a life with her, but on his terms. She wants a life with him, but in the light. Each time she reaches out to him in love or to help, he fades away to the darkness (afraid to trust, even the one he loves above all else), until she finally gets through to him and shows him what is inside her heart. The "stairway to the skies"- symbolizes their destiny- to share their love and music and to rule together.

Haven't decided yet, but I will definitely use PotO, whatever I decide.

Recommendation- You can use the song If I Never Knew You from Pocahontas (you can look at my channel for the version i used, cause i like that one better) or Phantom of the Opera Medley by Lindsey Stirling (i also have that on my channel if you want to check that out ☺) Beautiful video as always, you never disappoint! ♥

what was the software that you use to edit this? Like did you always use the same one? If not what did you start out with, because its a pain making my edits on my phone! ♥
Lauren6018 - Corel Videostudio Ultimate X6. For this video, yes, I only used that. For the videos I've made through the years, I constantly was upgrading. I started out with the free WMM five years ago, then went to Corel Videostudio Pro X2 (I think Dark Waltz was my first one to do with Corel)- and almost every year I upgrade when they have a sale. This year I didn't, but might next year, depending on what they offer for new things. :)

how do you get such high quality videos, like the footage? Do you record them yourself?
It's a pretty involved process- I change an mkv file to an avi- with two different processes and i use something called MPEG Streamclip (you have to pay $25 or $30 for the Quicktime application to run it) - and you also have to have mega space on your computer because the quality, editable files end up being anywhere from a few GB to 10 GB for up to 15 minutes (depending on the mkv file you use I guess) - I have 3 external hard drives to store all that I have - so it's a lot of work and a little or a lot of money- depending on if you choose to buy the external hard drives- but I am a quality nut, so it's worth it to me to get a HD clear picture. :) I can PM you the web site if you want it - it's for fan video editors and is full of useful information to get the best clips you can make...
