I've always heard that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I guess that's true. All my life, every time I've read comments pertaining to Barbra Streisand, there's undoubtedly one or two disparaging comments regarding her looks. I, personally, have always thought she was stunningly beautiful. In my opinion, her nose, eyes, and mouth are what gives her that unique beauty. I've just never understood why certain people feel the need to bash someone else's physical appearance. I'm guessing these same individuals probably don't think she can sing very well either.
There is nothing wrong with her appearance. Negative commenters are only negative. I am not a fan since I can't name one song she has sung. I do know she has a great voice. My mom likes Barbara Streisand. So I have heard some songs. I just don't know the names of those songs. She is beautiful. I think she has very pretty eyes and a pretty face.
My Dad always said she was homely before I was old enough to even know her. He was kind of an idiot anyway. I think she is gorgeous. A lot of people are uncomfortable seeing anything differerently
I would love to sing with them both,what great voices.I have admired Barbaras voice and try to copy her style of singing for years. Now with her son singing together with her is just the icing on the cake.Great family talent,as in my family too.Just glad to see it being used and thank you for sharing to all of us.
You gotta be incredibly brave to duet with one of the greatest voices of all time. She seems like a great mom too. That guy is one lucky dude! I wish my mom or dad had been half as supporting of me.

It sounds like Jason was a little nervous and a tad pitchy. Hey, we are all human. We still love you, Jason. I only wish you had more albums for sale. My Mom who's a designer always say that Barbra Streisand is Totally Beautiful...inside & out...her magneticconfidence & aura overshadow skin-deep beauties around her. That's why most of them are so insecure, because let's face it, she's sooo attractive to men...And most of all, a lot of Fashion & Beauty Consultants can only have disparaging comments, perhaps because she doesn't avail their services ??? My Mom said she's got a very KEEN EYE w/ Fashion & she's a Fashion Trendsetter herself during her time. She got Naturally Flawless Skin... So why should she be needing them? One thing I know, she's one of the richest singers around, so perhaps they're just sour-graping, coz they can't taste a slice of her golden pie ?
I suspect nerves got the better of Jason at the end. Although, it sounds like an arranged harmony that is typically unusual, as Barbra likes to work them, but even listening, I was trying to figure where they were going. Oddly enough, this is not the easiest song to sing solo for the way it builds up in the scale and then comes back down. But I even heard Barbra get lost there for a second. I still loved it.
I was able to see their duet again recently on our local PBS affiliate, OPT, in Springfield, MO...I tell ya, their voices are 'like butta', 'talk amongst yaselves'... I was definitely feeling 'verklempt' at that the beautiful sounds... :D
Not always a son of fish is a fish... Lots of exemples: CHaplin with lots of chilcren no one a genious or talent. The same for scientists or writers. She is unique, a superb artist, thats all. Jason will have a better future out of entertainment.
