I am from Tamil Nadu and came here after hearing the song "Seena Mein Jalan" mistaking that the song was from this movie (actually its from the movie 'Gaman'). But nonetheless still ended up watching it completely only to realize that I have witnessed one of the most magnificent pieces of Hindi cinema. Its a tragedy that the same Hindi movie industry that once produced such masterpieces has stooped so low in the name of commercialization and masala flicks; movies that are out of touch with real world issues and espouse obscenity, misogyny and all other social evils. its literally mass producer of garbage. Perhaps Smita Patel's last intense look into the screen is also for the movie producers of today, to introspect on these issues as well.
Farooq shiekh is above all in this movie. The way he spoke in Hyderabadi accent was tremendous. After all Critics say that He was the Natural Actor of Bollywood.
