We are doing our popular "Guess the Smash Ultimate character in one word" challenge - but with the people at Port Priority 7! Will WaDi and Marss have an easier time knowing it's Smashers on the mic, or will it prove just as challenging?

Anna's hints are so much funnier, but this was still pretty good
"Clone" was actually kinda clever since of all the echoes, only Dark Samus and Dark Pit are literal clones.
Can't deny that it really doesn't help much coming after "echo" though. The clues read basically the same, coming one right after the other like that, and there's already only, like, 7 echoes in the game.
@JandVSwitch True and -as someone who's never actually played a Metroid game- I think Ridley also fits the bill and as a KHloreExpert I can confidently say that a strong argument could be made for Sora (although he'd be the original not the clone in these arguments) but they have no Echo Fighters at all, not to mention the clones in question, which disqualifies them from the point the original poster stormRed was making.

Your hint helped me a lot because "McDonald's" was obvious when I got it, but "boxer" helped centralize me to what they were getting at. You gotta have someone giving clear hints or you get shit like "Java, sword, hype", which is a word that has two meanings, half the fucking roster, and a completely subjective feeling.

I guess Ana's hints weren't too bad. Some of these hints are pretty lame considering they should know the roster. You could easily do every character here with one word:

Parasite
Angel (or illiterate if you are worried about Angel being mistaken for Dark Pit)
Crocodile
Can (This one's a stretch)
Blocks
Astronaut
Witch
i felt like half way through they told them to pick the third or fourth thing that comes to mind to make it harder to guess.
My guess is that some people didn't want to make it too obvious.

There’s so many obvious or clever hints they could’ve given, but chose to give opinions instead. Idc if you think the character is annoying or hype, say “diamond”, “hair”, “astronaut”, “illiterate”, or literally anything else. Ig that would make it too easy, but that could be remedied by reducing the amount of hints given or restricting the types of descriptors they can say.
Ok can someone please explain the connection between Amazonian and Bayonetta? Like I dont think Bayo is the only female fighter in the smash universe.

2) "Clone" makes me think of a character that's literally a clone (which is very linked to being an echo fighter). A clone that's from space is Dark Samus.
3) Don't diss my boi Peanut like that, man. He may not be a Big Mac, but he can be decent in the right hands.
4) Arrow, with wings, and worthy of combos. That's either Pit or Pittoo. I guess Pit, the other guy's got worse arrows. [Indeed, 50/50 though.]

6) Duck Hunt? "Zapper" is the NES Zapper used in the home game, and target is the reticle that pops up? [You'd have to be a real gamer, at least in your 40s. The original Zapper was made specifically for those models of TV, so you can't pull it up on any screen and play.]
7) Java... I think Minecraft had something about being made in Java, so it's Steve? He does have a sword (as does half the roster), but hype is completely subjective. [Yeah. Amazed none of the 3 opted to say "block" or "craft" or anything.]
