    I like the last one especially.
    Another one I use often : trying to sing the note you are playing then the next and only once you sang the new one, you can proceed and play it.
    It feels like singing supercharges the pitch evaluation circuits.

    Perhaps not relevant, but still curious, from which etude is this? Probably an etude focusing on 2nd position?

      Yes, the whole etude is in 2nd position. It's No. 15 in Whistler "Introducing the Positions" Volume 2 (even positions). I love that book. The actual tune is based on Rode Caprice No. 3.
