When I was a kid I just saw him at the stageselect and I was like "Wait, IT ISN'T WILY!?" Even when I made it to Cossack 4 I was convinced he was the villian even with the lack of revisits.
I can tell. Having a change of pace from Wily as the villain to worry about can be quite refreshing, especially for the now repetitive formula of the serie, which clearly shines more on the gameplay than the actual story itself.
I love Quint, i wish he got the love he deserves from Capcom, but that just is not happening, it's Megaman classic, no complex stories can happen there.
First time I heard this was a few moments ago when I was watching a playthrough against Rockman 4's giant octopus boss, followed by another video of the Giant Metool boss. Like someone else said, this track's cooler than the actual theme.
@@Neospection I figured that out because... well, why else would they give you Thunder Claw? As for how I knew you had to use it on the Catcher, I tried hitting it with the Claw a few times in the first phase and I got pulled _(but not damaged, so it didn't catch me)_ several times for seemingly no reason.
@@robertlupa8273 yeah, I've never used thunder claw cause it wasn't a good weapon to me. But I had no idea you could use it to swing, nor did I know you could use it on the met catcher
@@dumblittleidiot1301 The one in MM8BDM doesn't use the VRC6 chip. Not sure which came first, this mix or the 8BDM one, so either this one's a souped-up mix of the Met Daddy's theme, or the Met Daddy's theme is a stripped-down mix of this one.
This song is an original composition, and it is not actually present in Mega Man 4. You're most likely misinterpreting comments referring to the Met Daddy fight in the fan game Mega Man 8-bit Deathmatch, which does use this song.
