    Hi I will be moving to NL for 1 year only on work visa while my husband and baby will accompany me. My husband works remotely from India for his company. His company has allowed him to work from NL. However his salary will continue to be credited in his Indian account. Do I need to declare this anywhere when we move to NL?

    • @pikeypiyush
      @pikeypiyush  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi. As he will be working from India, he will be paying taxes in India. He will be allowed to work in the Netherlands as he will be coming on a dependent visa. During the yearly tax assessment, he has to declare about his salary from India, though he does not have to pay taxes in the Netherlands for that.

      Hello Sachin. Thanks for connecting.
      To be very honest I would say wherever you get an accomodation. It's very hard to get accomodation here. There are many places in and around Amsterdam however not that easy to get and also is quite expensive.

      Hi Sandra. Good morning.
      Shared apartment with family? How will you share someone's apartment with your family?

      Hi Satabdi. Thanks for connecting. Good that you are trying via Funda and pararius however it is really difficult to get an apartment. You may have to come over and search for it here. You have rental agents who can help you find one with fee. However they charge a whopping amount of about a month rent as their fee. There are maakelars who do not charge anything. You have to try it all. If you want me to help you find an accommodation, you can share me your contact number and I can ask few maakelars and agents to help you find one. It's not that easy to find an apartment while you are still in India. Keep trying.

      To have some commonly incurred expenses in Netherlands you may check my Netherlands play list on My channel and check cost of Living in Netherlands video.

      Hello Monika.
      To be very honest canada and Australia do have an edge here due to Dutch language here in Netherlands though most of the people know English however they start with Dutch. Also most of the places here yiu would find written in Dutch which becomes a problem and you have to use Google translate all the time.
      Likewise Australia and Canada, Netherlands also has lot if opportunities for jobs and there are many Indians here too.
      I assume that you do not have kids right now so you can still consider Netherlands for next 5 years however may be better to move somewhere else at a later stage due to Dutch education and language taught in schools.

      For a couple 4k euros net per month is more than sufficient with savings to live here.
      Even if one of you work with 4k euros per month you can live easily here. 2nd person working is forsure an added advantage and you can save total earnings from the 2nd person.
      Hope you understand.
