Always magnificent picking from everyone, and obviously Molly, recognized with many awards, but Sully's guitar work strikes awe in me every time. I am so glad he is part of AJL&BS.
Just discovered your music today Molly I thought you were from the south and then heard you say growing up in Palo alto i lived in Santa Cruz half my family still do.i helped build a recording studio for jazz called Sonora record's in Glendale CA, I grew up with some famous straight ahead jazz musicians, now I have just fallen in love with your music.never really knew too much about Blue Grass now I have something new to love.thanks for turning the world onto your music
Enjoyed that, and a Tuttle lady too, i live in a small village in the middle of England where the Tuttles in 1635 came from and left for Boston on the Mayflower ship......good geology to look at.
GOD DAMN. Great playing from everyone on stage. makes me want to put my guitar down cause I will never have the chops these great musicians have. Goosebumps!
the song was released in 77 and townes was around 33... i have to admit that the song took on a different tone for me when I hit 34 and some of original folks i was introduced to this song with began to fade in their years...
That was really well done! We need these little reminders of just how talented the group was and still is! If I could pick half as fast as Molly and Sullivan I'd be ecstatic.
I saw Townes Van Zandt and Guy Clark perform together in Minneapolis many years ago. It was a great show despite Townes being so drunk he actually fell off his chair while performing this song.
Excellent performance. I do White Freightliner in my show except my "Bluegrass" guitar is solid body electric. I began incorporating Clarence White and Tony Rice style into my "iam band" sound back in the early 1980's. I do play acoustic guitar but not as often as shredding bluegrass licks on my electric guitar.

Holy shit, shes actually playing this in double time here...
My God, that Molly Tuttle killed that song.
The talent on this stage knows no bounds, I love seeing Molly light up after every solo that her peers take. This is fun!
Molly is so stunning in every way.
Amazing talent. Mr. Tuttle you must be bursting with pride. Just amazing what you have done here.
Townes was one of our all time greatest song writers. This cover does him proud. Nice job!
Thanks David
@@AJLeeMusic Mate, bring your band over to Auckland New Zealand Every one on that stage is amazingly talented, great stuff. Thanks Gib
This family is unbelievable! They're all amazing! This is the highest level of mastery right here. Thanks for uploading!

I believe you--I think I am related to them. (I'm from Connecticut)
All of them rock!...and Molly and Sullivan are still amazing
Song captures the essence of rolling down the highway in a diesel, band captures the essence of the song in a great performance!
Oh how I love mountain music! This is fantastic!

My God, I love the way she does this song!
Absolutely amazing. The entire Tuttle family is talented.

They sure are, I saw them at the south Essex bluegrass festival a few years back ,fantastic !!
This was my first Tuttles show. looking foreward to seeing Molly at Don Quixote's and AJ at the Santa Cruz bluegrass fair.

Can’t is the cancer of happen friend.
so strange but good to hear a youthful voice sing this song in 2017... maybe i shoulda stayed near Pagosa Springs for this weekend's bluegrass fest...

I wonder if they have played Scotland and Ireland? They should. People would love them.

Ugh! Crazy talent in how fast you all can play. I'm so impressed!

Amazing is all I can say.
that lady has magic fingers.
Fabulicious!
I'd give anything to be able to play guitar like that! Except like practice and stuff.
INSANE picking...

Coldblooded will you ever come to new braunfels?
Oh holy...
Wow!!!

SWEET! W2G :)

She makes Lyle Lovett look like he is in slow motion.
Love you Molly! But that is really too fast. She can pull it off and make the fire but should be played slower and more mournfully.
