Your camera needs to be tilted downward, It is difficult to see most of what you are doing, the view of your ceiling can be seen but not your workspace. Love the Gnome though.
I can give you a tip to help with your glue gun. When you add a new glue stick. put a small dot of glue from the nozzel on the new stick and it will work more smoothly. Gnomes are adorable, love them.
Green floral foam is toxic (I am a terrain builder and use foams daily). Try to use other foams. Also, if you are wanting a firmer hold (foam to glass) use a dab of E6000 or gorilla glue. It won't melt the foam and will stick a bit better. To get foam free, ask your neighbors, family or the local appliance store for the trash inserts in the box they just opened!
Are we talking about the same stuff? I didn’t use green floral foam - I used the styrofoam in Dollar Tree. It is green, but not the same make up of floral foam. I’ve seen people cut styromfoam all the time, and although it makes a weird sound, it doesn’t have the same dust that floral foam has.
@@prairiescraps If it is not the floral foam you are ok. One way to tell it is floral foam is that your finger will push in easily and it is dusty (that dust is the big problem). Depending where you live, 'good' foam can come in lots of colors. I just like to alert folks to the dangers of floral foam for uses outside of its purpose.

I've seen other crafters use silicone makeup brush to press hot glued things together.

@@prairiescraps It has formaldehyde in it and while it is safe when used whole and wet it gives off incredibly toxic dust when dry and cut.

I cut the fingers off really cheap kitchen gloves and use them in place of silicone tips....

My gun is low temp but it says to use hot on fabric.
