Just an idea but maybe apply the mask to a foam/plastic bust (head, shoulders) and sculpt the muscles on either using wet or oil based clay. Using the clay make sure the mask is completly secure on the head and that the mask isnt warped. Blend the sculpture to the mask thus creating a cowl. Make a two part mold of it using plaster of paris and cast it in latex. Obviously it would all be one piece so there would be no uneven areas such as latex-cloth material. The toughest part I would of thought would be the texture of the cowl. Awesome vid dude.
The one with the mouth on it? I bought that and it looks pretty good to me. The neck needs to velcro to the bodysuit and fill out with foam and some plastidip and it will look great. I think you will be happier if you give that cowl a shot Vinny. Your other low cost methods looked great but I think the separate neck with the cowl isn't working that well. And the most important part of a batman cosplay is the cowl.
Rixson Ramdeen Ive seen it. I guess for the price its good but the neck still falls a little short. I prefer mine for the aesthetic even if its a little more expensive.
Bro you need a sewing machine. It's not to difficult. It's intimidating at first but it will save you a lot of money in the long run. Great great work too.
