It's not an injury. I found out on 30 September who's the 'perpetrator' ;-) Shaila loves to groom the others (both adults as little ones). But she does it .... kinda rough. So I'm sure that she's the one giving those bold spots to the others.
This is only a small video. A day has 24 hours. It's now almost 6 years later. All the gorillas in this video are still alive and doing well. Big round bellies etc.
+Jennifer Cole The baby had a heart problem. Because she stayed in the group for a few days, they couldn't research the exact problem. And to my surprise I forgot what the cause of death for mom was. I do remember that it was something else (I believe cancer, but have to check it ... my memorie).

I miss baby s and her mom. Thanks Cindy for all the videos of them. It is such a shame both of them passed away.

It looks like they have a beautiful facility there but it's sad that doesn't look like they're getting enough nutrition some more than others
