Hey rev, if you do a safari hunt make sure you have a sweet scent pokemon so you can get unlimited encounters without worrying about the 500 step limit before being kicked out
@@saftsack476 as jafar mentioned, it forces you into a battle with a wild pokemon if your in grass,water or a cave so anywhere you can find pokemon it will work
this was the first pokemon i hunted with pokeradar, and i wound up getting 40 chain after 3 failed attempts. my chain didnt break after i caught it as well, so that meant i could try again for another shiny. i wound up getting 5 shiny larvitar, and every one of them has a negative attack nature LOL

I hatched over 5k eggs, getting 3 shinies in the process. The last one being perfect. 5 IVs, missing Sp.Atk and Hidden Ability. I got him all the ribbons in every game since and can’t wait to bring him to BDSP for some more.
That chain breaking luck was how my shinx hunt went, never got to 40. I ended up getting it full odds from a non shiny patch somehow after like 50 broken chains

What you said about shiny hunting is exactly how I feel about it too, my friend just bought a full shiny living dex and you know they are all hacked and it's just like they mean nothing. If someone offers me a shiny I respectfully say no. Needs my OT name and the effort behind it to truly be mine!
If you're doing a pokeradar hunt, jts actually better to stop at a chain of 17 because you get to see 4 mons at once, but the odds aren't the best, it just makes it easier
Seeing so many people trying to hit 40 and how much time passes and how commonly chain breaks is definitely not worth it imo. 17 is the best way imo. Yeah it can be abit of pain at times but the is no stress of breaking chain. I managed to get 5 shinies with 17 chain method will watching someone stream attempting to hit 40.

These were like 6 years ago and I remember the excitement each brought me. So see people make shines and duplicate them doesn’t bother me cause they r missing out on the excitement.

After you successfully complete a mission and Diana advises "The money has been wired to your account", it would be great to have an actual balance in game that you can spend on gear etc.
Currently hunting duskull, 2% encounter rate along with the 5% chance to reach 40 = 0.1% chance to get the shiny 🙃 highest streak I’ve gotten is 31 and i’ve used the pokeradar 800+ times just trying to encounter the duskull lol
If you want, you could just stock up on a lot of repels and start rerolling at 30 if you aren't confident you can get higher than that since the odds are still a well amount better than full odds
I think you should try to get a higher quality picture of yourself for your thumbnails and add some text of some kind. I think it would make the thumbnails look better. Good video though, nice shiny : )
I got shiny larvitar on a zero chain😂. I was doing the 17 chain method and I accidentally brought out my bike instead of pokeradar and then on my next one after the chain broke larvitar was shiny and the grass wasn’t even shining
So funny story I was shiny hunting him as well but I didn't beat the elite 4 yet so I didn't have the poketec yet so I manually counted and accidentally broke a chain on 41 when I thought I was on 39 but when I checked I was at 40 on my first attempt I was sooooo mad

After watching these pokeradar hunts, I believe the 7-17% chance of breaking the chain is totally justified. I'm not saying it's totally easier, but in comparison to the original game, that was a bit more harder. And they've made it just slightly easier in these remakes. I mean, going on the outside tiles and double tiles was a huge no no back then, but you're able to do it now.

the most efficient way to get a shiny is to get to a chain of 17 and then keep resetting so you’re chain doesn’t break like 50 times
