He entreats Lord vEnkatESa to remove the screens of envy etc obstructing vision of the Lord.
In this keertana Tyagaraja prays to remove his envy which is an obstruction in achieving his ambitions. He gives various examples saying that envy is an impediment in achieving one's own aims.

Oh Tirupathi Venkata Ramana, remove the curtain of envy in me which is obstructing my sight.

Gowlipantu Ragam :- 15 mAyamALava gowla janya

Barring the famous Thyagaraja Krithi Theratheyagarada- this ragam is rarely heard in Cutcheris There does not appear to be any raga resembling Gowlipantu in Hindustani Music, excepting its resemblance to some of the Bhairav Thaat ragas.
MDR uses the prathi madhyamam in arahonam. That is why this raga is called gowli pantu; half mayamalva gowla and half pantuvarali
