Hi! I appreciate this video sharing the differences between the products. We spent about a year researching different types of foams to find the best product that creates a great impression and takes ink well. Glad that you found that out while crafting with it! Happy crafting! - Simon Hurley
Hi Simon! Ah thank you so much for checking out the video! The research and love you put into your products clearly show in the results, and to me is another indication as to why cheaper isn't always better! Love your products (I have quite a few of them!) and appreciate your videos very much too 🥰🥰
Thanks for the comparison. The problem I have with the inexpensive web sites such as Shien and Temu is that many times they have "stolen" someone else's idea. Especially with stamps and dies. I have seen many times very similar sets on a site that works with stamp artists and on temu, with small variations. Personally I would rather give my money to the original artists than the knock off artists. Other stuff such as sequins and such I don't have as much issue with.
Great video, Kelly! I have some stamping foam from a different brand which I purchased at a small local shop where I live. Haven’t tried it out out as I didn’t have a heat gun until recently. I paid about $2.00 CAD & it’s a blue foam. I think they are 50% thicker than the two you brands in your video. While different brands, it was helpful for me to see how to do the heating & getting an impression. Hope you’ve been enjoying making things with your Simon Hurley foan & Lunar Paste.
oh how exciting! I most definitely have been loving my lunar paste very much! Need to sit down and use my stamping foam a bit more though, its so much fun to use@
Thank you for this, have never heard of stamping foam. Now I'm wondering whether it will work for stamping/imprinting on clay 😅 Have a wonderful day Kelly.

I couldn't agree more 👏👏 they end up stealing so many brands hard work for a much lesser quality product
Simon Hurley stamping foam was a stolen idea to start with . It’s not his invention .
Great video ! ,being able to compare products before we buy them is a must. Thank you for showing us the differences Kelly !
You are so welcome! 💚💚

One consideration for heating a foam pad would be any off gasses that are created. Do we trust the off brand to do any testing?
Oh my gosh yes! This isnt even something I considered - thanks so much for mentioning!
Love the hat ❤😂 great video. Also did not know about stamping foam. Thanks for teaching us all these things 🙏 great video 😊
