Unless you’ve ever tried to swim in the ocean you really can’t appreciate how hard it is. In 2-2 1/2 feet of water I almost lost my three year old son when a wave capsized the raft I was pulling him in. I felt the undercurrent as I was screaming out his name, and I felt my heart was being ripped out of my chest! Thankfully he had held onto the handles of the raft as it flipped. I could hear him yelling “ Momma” from under the overturned raft. 😮 He is nearly forty years old, and to this day all he has to say is one word, and my heart melts. Momma!
Ugh. I felt this. I had a similar incident with my 2 year old while on vacation in the Caribbean. We got rolled by a wave and I was only holding her by an ankle. I had PTSD about it for years, knowing that if I had let go I probably would never have seen her again.
They make it look soooooo easy, ripping through those waves. I have bad knees/balance, and it’s very intimidating at the least. My heart goes out to both of you. I too felt both experiences, as they were told. Glad both ended awesome!!
Those people are really lucky to be alive. Thank God Harries saw them. You guys are my role models you are amazing, I really appreciate all that you do for everyone I really wish I could be like you guys but I'm a 16 year old and I don't really know how to swim but I really love you guys keep up the great job 👍 Please reply to my comment
Shark (torando) alarms going off at my house constantly tonight. Prayers for all the people in the line of these storms. This is the second weekend straight of these things and spending the night in storm shelter. These shows are helping the nerves.

I started watching these guys yesterday because of there thumbnail and rescue the do it so nice and kind of them that it makes me want to watch more 😊😩👌✨🏖️ (there are really lucky to survive this I would be dead by now 😅)

I know that in Australia you have to be 18 to be a lifeguard but you also need you jet license you need medical training and driver license as well as other licenses. Hope that helps

Don't give up! Join nearby clubs, watch cpr training videos and do a course if you can. Kids can do them. Start learning now and focus on staying fit and healthy. Good balanced diet and exercise daily.

If you live in Cape Town, Nippers is the fastest way to a life guard. There are many clubs around that you can join.

I would have let the the scuba divers drowned to be real honest. I'm not a hatefull person but a lunchbrake is a lunchbrake..
Those divers were better protected than most swimmers. I’ve been diving for over 20 years. This was a show. Waste of time.
