A kashimiri folk song sung by Aabha Hanjura. Though unable to understand a single word, the song is quite entertaining-the beats, the presentation, the colors, patterns and the kraft. This music is like a white water rivulet which is traversing through beautiful meadows amongst snow clad mountains, which sometimes flow leisurely, sometimes turns into rapids and sometimes a waterfall. The song is written by Lal Dad or Lalleshwari or Lal Arifa, the 14th century kashmiri poetess and Saint, in whom Kashmiris find Shaivite enlightenment and Sufi wisdom together and whose verses or ( vakh) led the foundation of Kashmiri language and literature. She is loved and respected in the every household in Kashmir. Watch out for the transcendency effects of the music when two string instruments enter the scene: Rabab and Santoor

This song is so beautiful. Great that such artworks are finally in spotlight.
Bhai. ✋
Beautifully written, so glad you liked it thank you!
Love it 😀 ❤. My favorite Kashmiri song. Even if I don't understand a word, it makes me so happy ! 😊 Power of music to heal. 🌷
I am in tears right now..joyride to.my childhood
'Hukus Bukus Teli Wan Tse Kus'.
Who are you and who am I then tell us who is the creator that permeates through both you and I
'Moh Batuk Logum Deg'
Each day I feed my senses/body with the food of worldly attachment and material love (Moh = attachment)
'Shwas Khich Khich Wang-mayam'
For when the breath that I take in reaches the point of complete purification (Shwas = Breath)
'Bhruman daras Poyun chokum'
It feels like my mind is bathing in the water of divine love (Bhruman = nerve center in the human brain, poyun = water)
'Tekis Takya bane Tyuk'
Then I know I am like that sandal wood which is pasted for divine fragrance symbolic of universal divinity. I realize that I am, indeed, divine (Tyuk = Tika applied on the forehead)
Beautiful meaning, thanks so much for the translation
Thanks for the translation. As a child I had heard this as a playful lyric. I enjoy this song and raises my spirits🎉❤
Although I didnt understand the lyrics, I felt joy bubbling up in me. Besides the brilliant singing and music, even the production has been very well done. And Abha, you’re looking awesome 🤗😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
