Thank you very much for your comment , those commentators were very unprofessional saying that ,I am Egyptian 80% girls &women here aren't even allowed to show their hair or ankles for traditional & religious reasons imagine how the families of these girls bearing the burden of training and supporting them in this difficult and costly sport ! ..Nevertheless ,they are keeping in the top 12 among the best in the world , they are the ONLY Egyptian sports team which can keep this status beside Handball ..

I literally don’t know what this commentator has against Egypt. In other performances by Egypt, she was also saying rude things about their deckwork.
This gotta be my new favourite sport. Those ladies are absolutely atheletic and artistic, and those quirky, silly, fun, unique walk up choreographies are so perfect. I can only begin to imagine the amount of hard work and training behind those performances.

What is with this rampant racism in the commentary?! The commentators, especially the lady keeps criticising the Egypt team's performance like anything, she kept making similar disparaging comments during the free routine finals. Being a synchronised swimmer herself, she should have recognised and acknowledged the trials they had to go through and the hard work they put into their performance. Every team gave their best and put forward a lovely performance.
That's why it's called commentary. The problem with political correctness is you can't tell the truth now. This is a competitive activity. Where objectivity is a must. You cry racism easily.

Every men’s Olympic event has an equivalent women’s event. But artiistic (synchronized) swimming and rhythmic gymnastics are two Olympic events that are for women only. How unfair, unjust, and sexist!
