Advice lang Ollie, be sensitive sa pag mention ng dual citizenship in front of your new dads. Siyempre, sa dami ng sacrifices nila para sa iyo to be adopted, courtesy and respeto man lang sa kanila. You are so lucky to become German citizen through your new dads. Bihira mangyari iyan in someone's lifetime.

You can go on vacation to the Philippines with your German passport (a strong passport).

Commenting from Minden city, Germany 🇩🇪. Congrats Oli! Adopting Filipino I often heard since, year 1987 I was working with Philippine embassy in Bonn city. It was still Bonn city the capital of West Germany. I worked in Consular department so I encountered those adoption documents. I also knew a Filipino family with two kids way back 1984 they are also from Davao city, they were also adopted by a German owner of boutique of Benetton and exquisite boutique in area of Gummersbach city and Engelkirschen city. The wife took care of the German guy who adapted them when the German got sick till he died. That’s how it works.

Oliver,Try mo mag inquire sa Philippine embassy,kung pwede ka mag apply as Dual Citizen,mas maganda,kasi kung may mga properties ka sa Pilipinas baka mag kaproblema in the future..opinion ko lang naman ito.🥰🥰
Yes nasaisip Ko rin yon mag apply Ka dualCitizen kc sa ibang bansa like Canada ganon sila DUAL citizen.
Please note that as of June 27, 2024, new citizenship laws entered into force in Germany. Germany now allows dual citizenship for all of its citizens and foreign residents as long as the other country also permits it. In principle, Germany does not allow dual citizenship.
Mas okay kung German Citizen lang sya, full support ang ibigay ng Germany in case something happens..
it’s hard to serve two masters. Germany is a very generous country. Oliver can still help his family even with just a single citizenship. In fairness to his adoptive bosses, now legally his parents, he must remain as he has applied for. Maybe in the future he can decide if he needs to apply for dual citizenship.Thank you.

Napaka lucky mo Oliver bihira lang makatagpo ng ganyan ok lang yan mag German citizen but still ang puso ay Filipino pa rin ang importante ma stable ka na jan hindi yong nangangamba ka baka d ka tagaan ug extension so walay problema ug German na ka ug lucky you kasi ikaw na ang taga pagmana sa mga bossing mo hindi tulad ng mag apply ka lang as German citizen just because of work walay mana nga moabot where as kung adopted naa jud ka mana it’s not a big deal to be adopted papel lang yan but still dugong Pinoy pa rin

@@agatonicaararacap4917 Pinay at heart here too kahit na US citizen na after living in the US for over 40 years. Retired now and going to Pinas quite so often now since we still have our familh house in Proj 8 and resthouse in the province. Loving denengdeng pa rin nga. 🤗
@@Marivic-HerCa Hindi pa ako retired,kaya almost 1.5 yrs pa,para mareack ko retirement age dito,at saka may awa dios at malakas pa naman kaya pang magtrabaho full time sa hospital. May bahay din ako sa Batangas,kaya pag winter dito,doon muna ako,at balik ako kapag summer dito.

@@Marivic-HerCa Thanks but my work as psychiatric nurse is not so much tiresome than the days I worked in operating room for 2o yrs here,and now 18 yrs in mental hospital.Sometimes its psychologically exausted,but I love it.Next year,around October magresign na ako,and in my thoughts my last day at work is first day of january 2026.
