I love you for it!! Really touched me when you say "I know how easy it is to log into world of Warcraft and say this is enough" and I been fighting ever since that video to make friends Irl. I'm still very much alone, but I made 2 close friends within 3 years. One moved away to Texas (within a year I'm going to visit him and we're going to try to start a heavy metal band, I'm a drummer) anyways. My Other close friend died over this last summer. It's been very hard. I manage to get thru it tho, the void that's missing in my heart is filled with loving memories of him. Now I'm back in my Pit of depression and social isolation. The things I love doing I no longer love. I love nothing I do. I come home to a home of silence. I go to school (senior now) and I sit alone on the cold concrete ground. I go to a school with 3 thousand kids. And not one wants to be my friend, I've tried very hard. Heck I even went to a youth group and that is so far out of my comfort zone. And I couldn't connect with anyone nor liked it. I feel just empty. Your advice was basically (can't remember from word to word, but was like this) "you might have to meet thousand assholes and miserable people to make that one friend" and I've been trying ever so hard. And I always get rejected. I'm just asking for advice because I'm not sure what else to do. I'm at the point where I'm not suicidial but I don't care if I were to die. I'm just kind of here I guess. Anyways man sorry for a wall of text. Love ya!
