Popping into this several years late, since my daughter & I have been stocking up on the albums. Linda, your faint trace of accent made me very nostalgic. My dad's family was Germans from Russia, who spoke a Plattdeutsch dialect very similar to Amish/Mennonite German (recipes are very similar too). Dad was the last generation to speak German first, English second. He died three years ago, and it was such a joy to hear again.
HI Linda! I am thrilled to be finally ( I am late to everything ;) watching this video and seeing the Sr. Creator of HC. I love Emma Lou and I now have a new addiction, it is to Heartfelt Creations, the first is crafting..I just wanted to say hi and thank you for everthing your family has done to make it beautiful and more simple for crafters like me.I am a grandma and proud pet parent too. Your creations are Beautiful..blessings to you and yours~
Absolutely love watching your demos been going though all of them x trying to buy all the sets x now I’m going to get one of the albums to do for my granddaughters x just love making the flowers x thanks for some great demonstrations x from Boston Uk x
My wife is watching from Wisconsin. She ordered all three flip albums as well as two paper pads, Sparkling Poinsettia, and the Mum paper. I know she is anxious to try out her skills and create something beautiful for our family.
+John von Kanel Hi John, That is so wonderful! Thanks for watching and I just absolutely am so excited for what she will be able to create for your family! ~Emma Lou
I just watched this from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I couldn't watch it Friday at all. We were too busy with doing family things with our 4 kids. They are all adults but still keep us busy. I loved your videos. This one gave me some ideas for a Christmas card I need to make for my Sunday School teacher.
I'm watching from Baltimore, Md, and I love the Family Friendly atmosphere of your company. These new albums and add-ons are awesome ... congratulations!!!!!
Hi Emma Lou, it is Sat night before Easter Sunday (my favorite Religious Holiday) and I am late to the party as usual, but I made it!:) I didn't know these existed until today as I was catching up with my you tube video and I love Heartfelt Creations..I am THRILLED that you brought this product out...I didn't even finish watching and went online and went "Hog Wild and Pig Crazy" lol (a southern saying that we say in our family~lol) and bought 3 or 4, the paper, dies, etc...to start my Christmas presents for 2016 early..You made it easy for people like me, that just hate reading all the instructions and sometimes "just don't get it, when I read a bunch of PDF file" on putting a album together..SO thank you, thank you, thank you....Happy Easter...Victoria
+Victoria Ciolek Hi Victoria, Your comment totally made my day. I love this "Hog Wild and Pig Crazy"!!! Have fun creating your albums, what a great gift for Christmas:)
Happy to make your day! Yep, Jeff Foxworthy (whom I love) obviously knows my kin that are deep in the southern neck of the woods..What great people they are...I have other "sayin's" as they say them, but this is what I said out loud when I saw these albums..and I did go Hog Wild and Pig Crazy...now I just gotta hide from my hsb when the bill comes for a few days...LOL just teasin' I have my own acct. but he does think I have to "much craft stuff".. there is never such a thing as to much. I gave up shoes, purses, and every other thing after I married him, so crafts aren't anything. He is getting off lucky..He is a man, so he has no idea..He'd never had been married before..He is learning...We women, have to teach our sons, that when a woman wants something, she is going to get it, and if she has to eat the receipts to hide them, well, they just might. ;) ..and as long, as she isn"t breaking the law, or their bank accts , even if they come really close, then it is no big deal. (If we stay happy they are happy..that happy wife, happy life, thing is true.) That way when they are men, their wives will thank us and we have made it much easier for the future of women and their crafting or whatever it is they have to have...I will BITE if he comes to close to my craft room and thinks he will help me "get rid of some things"...As long as my MR. stays in his garage and outta my craft room, we are happy.. We will meet in the kitchen and have a happily after marriage..at least I think this is a good idea..WE've been married almost 20 yrs. and I haven't had to eat a receipt yet, came close once, but naw...IN seriousness, he finished out my craft room and it will be gorgeous but it may take me a yr to put it back together...My oh my .LOL Happy Crafting Ladies.
+Victoria Ciolek You are hilarious! hahaha, never heard the term eating receipts either....you are teaching me all kinds of new phrases:) How wonderful that your hubby helped finish out your craft room:) Take care~Emma Lou
Emma Lou, I don't know of any one who "actually ate the receipts" but I think of Lucy all the time..She was hilarious...People have told me I am funny, but I don't see it, I just say what comes to my brain, My brain just works in mysterious ways lol, but Southern folks are the best..mine just happen to be way back in the hills and they are the BEST people in the world and I would also crack up when they would say something.I was" their cousin who got to see the world", when at that age I had only been to about 15 states..since then many many more...Here's one for you...this is when I am mad and think I am telling off someone, which I rarely, rarely do, but when a person is upset and having that rare moment, they say "I just told them how the cow ate the cabbage." You might have heard that one, but we have many and we laugh..Laughter is what keeps the world nice, the other is card making (at least for me it is) Thank you Emma Lou..I am SO thrilled you thought enough to write me...even though I was just "spouting off" that day.. I Just bought some more Heartfelt Creations fun things so I might just be the first one to actually eat the receipt...LOL have a great day and a better weekend...
Each of the albums showcased are so beautiful, but I wish each one was shown in detail, like page by page. I love these albums and inserts. Great idea.
+MrsgoMez2012 Hello, Thank you for watching. Here is also a link to more videos from the 3D Flip Fold Album Series: hcgo.co/flipfoldalbumvideos. These will show each album in the livestream in more detail. ~Emma Lou
Hi I just love you and your mom story that just encourage me in so many ways am 51 years old not young much older and I have always been the big cook in the family . and a good cook and I have sew during the years of my life I had so many hobbies and had experience many things . well to make a long story short FINALLY I heard about heartfelt creation by you tube and these was 2 years a go can you believe it lol . well today I use nothing but heartfelt creation. I love the paper I love the ideas you have and I love the fact that you share so much in all your creations . a big thanks too your mom I just love her bless her heart and yours and family .. and I just love the new tradition of may I cant wait to get the package. well today am going to sign up for the member ship lol shame on me I should of done these a while ago saving money is always the fun part but I just wanted to voice how I feel and how much being home and making albums and cards and so on makes me so happy it takes me away to another world and I just love it and so does the family they get all these cute and adorable albums and so on from me Thank You For being in my life and am sure many women feel the same once again God Bless you and the family and crew much love and respect Betty Salcida CortezHug,s & Kizze,z
+betty cortez Hi Betty, thank you so much for sharing this, you totally made my day! How wonderful that you have the opportunity to create so much from home for your family and friends. Thank you for being part of Heartfelt Creations and welcome to the Platinum club:) ~Emma Lou
thanks for getting it up so quick after the life stream...too funny...I had my browser opened up to this page and as soon as you posted it it just automatically started playing...scared the heck out of me...I jumped LOL..off to watch now.
I was able to come up with a work around that allows me to get two 6" wide base page cuts from a 12" x 12" page. I used a 1/2" punch along the outside edge of each page. This left me with a base page that measured about 6 1/4" wide which let me cut the 12" x 12" page in half and have a 1/8" easement around all edges of the page. It actually looks nice, and as long as you remember to attach the flip folds to the back of the base page.
Emma Lou, I would love to see some video tutorials using your new album's and flip folds using your paper lines, with flowers and your other embellishments for( new album) crafters like myself so we can see how they are made from beginning to end..I know that may be a lot to ask, but I know I would be thankful, and for other album makers that might be a bit intimidated by all the folds or not knowing quite what or how to do a fold for the most part..just a suggestion..It would show how we could use your paper for other than cards, which I do..and of course I would buy more :)
I placed an order for the Binder and Pockets Collection on the website before watching this Live Stream, so I missed out on adding the Free Paper Pad to my order. Is there any way that it could be added now? Thanks so much if you can help me to access the Live Stream Special. Enjoyed the show!!!!!!!!!!
+Eileen Mikolayunas Hi Eileen, Could you please email customer service at support@heartfeltcreations.us and they can look up your order and add that for you ~Emma Lou
I have been making mini-albums from scratch now for two years and so was curious to try out the pre-made albums and flip fold inserts. My first impression of the album itself was positive. It is well made and sturdy, however upon closer examination, I found that the album only came with 5 pages which gives you a total of 12 pages to decorate and place photos. I make my albums with 6 pages which allows me to get an extra two pages of photos. Ok, so I can get over that, however it was when I measured the paper to lay down on the base page I discovered my major complaint. My albums measure 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" with the 6 base pages measuring 8 1/8" x 6 1/8". This allows me to get two full page cuts from one 24" x 24" sheet of cardstock with enough left over for pocket fronts. The HFC albums measure 7" x 9" with base pages measuring 6.5" x 8.5". If you want to leave 1/8" or 1/16" easement around your cardstock (as I do), then the measurement of a full page must be no less than 6 7/16" x 8 7/16" . These dimensions only allow me to get one (1) base page cut of one 24" x 24" sheet of cardstock and at $24.99 a paper pack with 24 pages per pack, this then becomes an expensive way to make an album. I would hate to think this was done on purpose to make us buy more paper but I also cant imagine that someone at HFC couldnt figure this out before going to press with these albums. If there is a more economical way to make these cuts, please let me know. HFC - I love your albums. They are sturdy and well made. I wish the dimensions were such that I could get more economical cuts and less waste. For this I have to give you a thumbs down.
Hi Lesley, How is you day going. Thank you so much for watching and providing me with your feedback! I so appreciate it....and thank you for pointing out your perspective on being able to cut 2 base pieces from one 12x12. We had been using a 12x12 to cut 1 base and then use the remaining sheet to cut the decorative pieces for the flip fold inserts for that page. If you would like to get two base pieces from 1 12x12, would it be an option to cut the base sheet to 6x8 and if you want a 1/8" mat instead of the 1/4" edge maybe layer the decorative sheet on an inexpensive cardstock mat to layer it on the base? I am so sorry that the dimensions are not to your liking! Hopefully this is helpful for you and will take away the extra work it takes to create the entire album from scratch:) Take care~Emma Lou
Check out Shellie Geigle, she does tutorials with H.C. and she can make the best of all the paper and gives the BEST tutorials for free and goes page by page. I have made 3 or 4 albums with her and we always made the album with one paper stack. Hope this helps. =) I live in Canada
I was just watching this again...when you were interacting with your mother, and mentioned pulling one of those scrapbooks out of your purse...I thought..."that would be SOME purse"! Maybe you can have a "tote" just the right size for a finished album (okay, I have an embroidery machine, too) and they would be safe and even hang on a peg or hook on the wall for safe keeping! It should have a firm base to keep pressure off the front of the album. I know, you don't have anything else to do...but it would be great!
+Heartfelt Creations Emma Lou, I'm very well. I see by the video, you are more lovely than ever and I loved watching you interact with your also beautiful and talented mother! As I approach my birthday, I remember with great fondness the wonderful time I had at the Mega Meet in Novi last year. I had decided that returning to the place I grew up to attend the convention for my 60th birthday was a great idea (I celebrated my 50th the same way). That fateful morning when I backed up into your booth while ducking out of the way from the mad rush when the gates were opened and I found myself amidst such beauty and creativity (and the products are great, too!) was the highlight of a wonderful long weekend. Mother's Day was the Sunday following the convention and my mother still lives in the area. She was thrilled with the beautiful card I had made in a class featuring your products. Thanks for the memories...I just hope I don't have to wait another decade to do it again!
+gina gallagher Hi Gina, Thank you for watching! Sunrise Crafts is a great retailed of our products and carries most skus and you can request these items from them: www.sunrisecrafts.co.uk/. ~Emma Lou
+Caroleanne Wright Hello! How are you doing? Typically 1 paper pad has been sufficient for most of the design team members that have created albums....however, if you make it extremely elaborate or want to use 1 design multiple times you might want 2 of the same paper pad. ~Emma Lou
True story. Every time I get my stamps out my hubby asks are you going to use your good stamps? He is talking about Heartfelt stamps. He is not a crafter but knows quality when he sees it, even in crafts!
I really wish you could edit the comments after you post them here because I have realized that I misspoke (obviously) when describing the size of the standard sheet of cardstock which is 12" x 12". I wish they did make cardstock collections in 24" x 24". That would solve all our problems.
Hi Lesley, Just saw this comment after I responded to you other comments. That would be awesome to have an editing feature on TH-cam! I did take your comment as 12x12. No worries, us creative people understand and yes it would be great to have paper that large:) ~Emma Lou
hello! I have to say, I think I have fallen in love with your albums and dies and ur TH-cam channel. I was watching your video with the album's and noticed your glue tip, doesn't look like a regular glue tip. I was wondering if you bought that special, or is it a special kind of glue? would you be so kind as to let me know where I can find either? thank you. Have a wonderful day! 😃
Hello! Thank you for your kind comment and feedback. Which album will you create with first? Do you have a specific theme in mind? The tip I am using is called a fine metal tip and is specifically made to use with the Dries Clear Glue. This glue and tip is the BEST! Perfect for paper gluing, getting a very fine line, but also works great to adhere glitter....and the glitter stays on! You can find those here: www.heartfeltcreations.us/shop/crafting-accessories/adhesives/designer-dries-clear-adhesive and here:www.heartfeltcreations.us/shop/crafting-accessories/adhesives/metal-tip-for-adhesive-bottles. ~Emma Lou
+Heartfelt Creations thank you! thank you!!😃😃😃😃 I'm not sure yet which album, there are so many and all are gorgeous!! I'm going to look for that glue now. THANK YOU! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

watching from the UK. How many paper pads do we need to finish the whole album please?
+Caroleanne Wright Hello! How are you doing? Typically 1 paper pad has been sufficient for most of the design team members that have created albums....however, if you make it extremely elaborate or want to use 1 design multiple times you might want 2 of the same paper pad. ~Emma Lou
I am in India, please tell me how do I buy yr. products
True story. Every time I get my stamps out my hubby asks are you going to use your good stamps? He is talking about Heartfelt stamps. He is not a crafter but knows quality when he sees it, even in crafts!
+gretchen brewer How sweet is that! Thank you for being a paper crafter, Gretchen and making beautiful things for your loved ones:) ~Emma Lou
Where can I find these kits?
Thank you for watching! You can find them here: www.heartfeltcreations.us/shop/?route=product/category&path=53. What do you like about what you saw?
~Emma Lou
+Heartfelt Creations thank you! thank you!!😃😃😃😃
