The purple whale isn't ARMY... I would like to correct you on this theory.
There's this song in HYYH pt.2, named Whalien 52. The whale symbolises BTS in their early days. It's the whale that has the sound frequency of 52 hertz, which no one can hear, not even their own kind. So the whale is left alone (alienated) and that's why the song is called Whalien 52. Make sure you see the lyrics and listen to the song.
The song is about how you can be surrounded by crowds of people of different kinds and even when you scream at the top of your lungs no one hears you. The whale is surrounded by different types of life in the cast waters of ocean but its cry is never heard because no one can hear it. So it shuts itself up helplessly.

Also, in the animation, the purple whale goes to the heart of the ARMY, meaning BTS was the whale, and we let them reach our heart even though they were not audible. Later the whale becomes big, and gives comfort to the girl, who represents ARMY. This shows how big BTS have become now, and now they will help and support ARMY, like ARMY supported BTS in their early days

The appearance of a whale in a dream can signify that everything will be okay. Whales tend to appear during the time you are currently facing an issue in your life.
Out of what I understood:
The girl(ARMY) was feeling down and sad because of which she was crying herself to sleep and then Tiny tan enters.
The whale on her T-shirt actually has a theory and if I'm not wrong then its like the whales cannot communicate with other whales and thus in this video(and also in We are bulletproof: the eternal) it kinda means that BTS speaks a language which can be understood by the ARMYs and comfort them. So then the whale takes all of them somewhere and Tinytan transforms the girl into a princess/angel and brings the piano to her which actually helps in relieving her stress and makes her happy and at last she falls asleep, Tinytan feels emotional and happy to help her in some way.
And the message at the last is actually a part of lyrics of 00:00 (Zero o'clock)

The ARMY wants to be a Piano Queen. She has posters, books and music notes in her room. She probably lacks confidence and determination to play the piano. Just when the ARMY is at her lowest, BTS come to the rescue and take her on a beautiful journey. When she is scared BTS gives her courage. They bring the AMRY closest to her dream. She finally plays the piano making her self happy and BTS proud.

According to me this video discuss about the relationship of army and bts.
When we come our home after our tough jobs or school and become tired and sad then they are the onces who comes to our heart through their music and give us strength (Maybe that purple whale can be their music which gives us strength and happiness) then after listening to it we find inner peace and strength and when we woke up next day we began with new hope and energy.
I think they even want to tell us that not only us they also feel sad when they leave us.
