It’s really tasty whiskey for sure. Price is a little high though. I’m all about it at $35-40, $60 is a tad too much for 90 proof 3 yo sourced stuff. But if they sourced from a craft place like Middle West in Columbus, I guess the higher price makes sense.
It is distilled by Middle West spirits here in Columbus. They are still new to the game but have some solid offerings. Rex & Daniel put up a review of their pumpernickel rye.
Very possibly distilled by Middle West Spirits here in Columbus. They use 30 gallon barrels for some of there stuff, not sure how much, which really accelerates the barrel interaction. They make outstanding 4 grain bourbon and pumpernickel rye. They do a lot of contract distilling including some of the High Plains Rye distillate, I believe.
Different topic: Greezer and Ginger Billy need to get together for some collab videos. It would far surpass TH-cam gold. I’m calling platinum if it ever happens.
I'd like to try it for sure, but it's priced too high for a three year, sourced product. I can buy a bottle of Russels 10 yr or Russels Si Barrel, or Four Roses Si Barrel for less money and know I'm drinking some of the best bourbon being produced.
I’m gunna add a wrinkle to this buy, bar or pass. If y’all call it a bar, call out bars where this is on the shelf ready for my gullet. This makes the most sense. I’m so blown away by the finish being this good on a 3 year bourbon. Crazy.
Just left barrels and brews question is should I go back to get that bottle picked up two store pics instead
