Bravo young man! Bravo Dad! Casting and playing the jig skills are both off the charts. He is obviously well taught and sure seems to be a natural. The cast just beyond the rocks was amazing. Congrats on catching one of the biggest Bass I’ve ever seen. Great video!
This took me back a half century. A similar pond, an infamous, big and brawny but cagey old bass that every one who saw him dreamed of landing. Sure enough, one beautiful spring morning, in a gorgeous little cove beneath a navy blue sky it happened. That indifferent monster snapped up the millionth cast that hit just the perfect spot. He ran with the bait, I set the hook, and the line zipped open the water with a ripping rush. Then, like one of those beautiful, breakwater shots you see in the fishing magazines my prize launched himself into the blue void. And spat that worn out plastic purple worm into space...... I've climbed mountains, swam rivers, lost and won countless times. But never did the needle swing so far and so fast in so short a span of time. God! What a blessing He gives us all. Thanks Lil brother for reminding me. Godspeed more blessings to you. ❤

Oh my goodness. I just had flashbacks of my nephew (Jon B of the Googan Squad) back when he started fishing around age 4. He was exactly like this, minus the adorable southern accent. I will say I don’t remember him catching a bass THAT big though. Good job kid! Follow your passions!!! ❤️
Man I can feel it when I was 10 years old. I caught an 8 lb steelhead. I never stopped fishing after that and loved every minute and still do good for that little fisherman
