    You can just paint polytac or Sig Stiks-it where you want the covering to stick (perimeter and tops of ribs etc) then iron the fabric on like you normally would. It is heat activated. I use Dacron (Koverall) on all of my builds. Wonderful stuff.

      I have used both products with or without using an iron. If I don't let it dry and then use an iron, it will pretty much have the same result when I use the iron to shrink the fabric and go over all the seams.

    The only drawback to nitrate dope is its not fuel proof, buteyrate is.. you can paint all of it in nitrate if you want, then top coat with buteyrate to protect it.

    Now you're talking cover time !! She is looking good. Did you decide to cut out the gussets.

    Hey Bud, can I suggest you go back to incorporating time lapse in the episodes? I re-watched the earlier episodes, and it really added to the enjoyment!! All the best.

      I do like doing the time lapse sections to show the whole process, I'll see if I can get the cameras setup outside this weekend when I start another day of covering.
