I’ve changed my schedule to be every Saturday 7PM :) I’ll take this over the Okavango any day. The only reason I would take the Okavango over this is remote start, and 7 seats. Aside from those, the Azkarra is better. Smoothness, materials, and refinement are all strong points of the Azkarra.
@@TheKisheng everything is perfect at the moment. No complaints whatsoever. Tahimik, maganda ang rides and comfy. Magaan dalhin. Average ang fuel consumption pero ok pa din for us. Better than our old jaoanese legacy brand cars IMO.

Very nice review dude! My favorite in the compact crossover segment so far. But I'd like to ask, is the ground clearance really low? Do you have any numbers? Some say the Toyota wigo has a higher ground clearance than the azkarra and that kinda puts me off if it's true.
@@KyleLiongCars Yeah figures, I actually saw the azkarra at our local SM Mall and from what I saw, I’d say the ground clearance is even higher than my (soon to be replaced) daily driver, the hyundai tucson. There are alot of negative feedback on casa maintenance on other brands (japanese brands). Like over charging or maybe asking to replace some parts that is in good condition. I would like to know if, geely be service outside casa? For regular pms, aircon cleaning etc.. and for example, for some unknowed reason the car just stalled in the middle of the road (provinces), how do we have it checked and fix?
I want this as a family (of 3 or 4) car but eyeing for the oka because it is 7seater. But the interior of this beast is 🔥🔥🔥. What would you recommend? Get the 7 seater or this 5 seater beast?
Our Toyota Fortuner often eats oil. AC control module already malfunctioned within a year. We have a Subaru Outback that’s also Japanese and already has numerous problems. Point is, yes, Japanese cars are really reliable and I do not disagree, but hard to say they don’t have their own issues too. As for this Geely, can’t say till they’re here long enough. We’ll see by then :)

Not really a fair comparison but if you ask me, I like the Azkarra way more. I did a review on the RS Turbo way back, and yeah it's fast but there are better options for the money haha

Hi kyle, it seems that geeley ticks all the boxes consumers are looking for in a car (eg powerful engine, great design, great finishing etc) However, i still cant comprehend as to why geeley will design such product and sell it at a discounted price when compared against their japanese, american, european counterpart? I mean if you are a highly skilled professional and with proven credentials, would you accept a salary/ compensation that is not commensurate to your output? Looking forward to your input
They probably have to lower their prices first so that people will think it’s worth it to “take the risk” of choosing them over other brands. Once people approve of their design, and the brand establishes its reputation 100%, I’m sure they will start raising their prices little by little.

Im kinda torn between the coolray or the azkarra, ive already test driven the coolray and it really is a nimble and fast car, and i really loved driving. My only gripe was that it didnt have any back air vents which made it kinda hot and the moon roof cover, i know its a nit pick but we are in the philippines hehe. I liked the azkarra for its looks(more refined and execuitive looking than the coolray) and the features. Im kinda hoping for your opinion on this sir. Thank you and more power to your channel 👍
Check my Coolray video. It actually does have rear ents haha! Personally I’d go for the Azkarra as it’s so much more refined with a much more premium interior. I’m not really one for speed anyways.

Aircon at the back for the Coolray is not the best, but better than nothing haha! The Azkarra at the back is even less colder though but pwede na. Do take it out for a test drive. You won’t regret it!! Contact Geely Fairview if you wanna try out the exact unit I got to try
I've had 2 (Korean) Hyundai sonata hybrids my latest has 128,000 us miles on it and still going strong. One benefit to hybrids is that they are easy on breaks. I may never need to replace them. This car has alot of Volvo tech in it. Should be pretty reliable.
The interior is great. Very luxurious looking. I'm thinking of buying the everest but the interior of that was so out dated. Which is a major deal breaker.

You might think that it’s underpowered but it’s surprisingly sprightly! I loved the motor on the Azkarra. Still nowhere near as fast as the XC40 though hehe! That was a small rocketship

It almost has the exact same features of my Chery Tiggo 7 Pro. That NAPA leather though is the icing on top the cake!

I don’t have the numbers but ummm no I doubt that? It feels really high and nice. Gives you a great driving position too

Azkarra is much bigger and has nicer materials on the inside. It also has an additional mild hybrid motor and all wheel drive.

If you look up geely's ICE prices in china, most of them average at 18,000 - 22,000 USD. Their EV is at 30,000 dollars

The interior is great. Very luxurious looking. I'm thinking of buying the everest but the interior of that was so out dated. Which is a major deal breaker.
Get the Azkarra instead if you don’t need 7 seats. If you do, you may want to consider the Okavango too

@@KyleLiongCars haha, thank God..Actually Im only apprehensive of the Azkarra's powertrain.. a 1.5 3 cyl mild hybrid is something I am not familiar of yet.. But the luxury it offers on that price is amazing..
You might think that it’s underpowered but it’s surprisingly sprightly! I loved the motor on the Azkarra. Still nowhere near as fast as the XC40 though hehe! That was a small rocketship
