*For me personally Diwan absolutely is the best scent Arabian Oud produces. It’s unreal. Sultani or Amiri don’t even compare even though I have both. It’s a very airy, molecular, transcendent scent you would have thought Geza Schoen created for the house of Escentric Molecuke or Ormonde Jayne. It carries itself the same way Bois Imperial / Ganymede does. It lasts forever, stays in your fabrics and compliments are a joke with this. I get 12+ hours. Personally for me top 3 fragrances I’ve ever smelt but appreciate your take sir!.*
To me this smells like a very high quality soap that you would find in a luxury hotel. The vetiver also gave me Irish spring vibes but again high quality
Great review man, the only type of review that I like these days. Just a personal breakdown with the type of details everyone is actually looking for. Everything is subjective and I like hearing people’s actual opinions with detailed descriptions. Hopefully Amiri is one you’re going to try btw. I was on the fence with my sample but got it after asking around if it got boring, was worth it etc. But I’m really impressed with that one, it’s mass appealing but also really good quality and lasts a long time. If it’s not one you have on the way, holler at a dude and I’ll send a spray sample. I’d like to hear more reviews on it even though I have it, and even if you don’t like it. Cheers mate!
I agree with your review. Its a great scent but it plays peek-a-boo and isn't all that present. Arabian Oud has been really hit or miss for me and this is another one that's ok but the performance leaves something to be desired. Sultani has been the only one I really love from this house.
@ if you like fresh fragrances that may lean slightly masculine I’d say yes. I think it could work on a female great and a good alternative to something like molecule 01 and things like that (Lighter scents). It really has no accords that make it truly masculine it’s just a fresh fragrance.
Sultani, Diwan and Kashmir (the original) has this dusty and fuzzy scent. I get nose blind pretty quick after using them. I think they share the cashmere wood.
Anyone go nose blind to this. Just got a bottle of diwan. Love the smell. Today is my first wearing of it. I hit 11 sprays at 630 am. One each wrist and elbows. One on the sides and back of neck. Two on front of my shirt and two on the back. I've already had to re up around 12. My wrists are literally barely traceable. Hopefully maceration will help. But doesn't seem to be as strong with longevity as some are claiming it to be. Clothes I still smell decent. I'm gonna rock it the rest of the week so we will see. Today I got zero compliments wearing it. And I was around a bunch of people. Side note. My most complimented cologne at the moment is essential parfumes bois imperial. Every wearing I get at least 2-3.
I will say Arabian Oud does sometimes have batch issues. My Diean performs on the same level as my Bois Imperial. But I had a mate whose Amiri was no where near as potent and well performing as my Amiri. But Arabian Oud did accept the return.
I just got diwan in the 200 ml bottle and the box didn’t come like this, it just came in a regular box. I am assuming only the 100ml box comes like in your video but I am unsure. Has anyone received the 200ml diwan in a different box ? Or did I get scammed …
I just got a 200ml with the green (outer) box like is shown in this video but that's it. The same presentation you have. My bottle is from Jomashop and it's authentic. The box (the writing) is exactly like all the other boxes I've received from Arabian Oud but it doesn't have the elaborate inner transformer box which I am 100% okay with. If you smelled Sultani or some of their other offerings (has a similar cashmere note to Knight Silver) then you will know if your bottle is real or not. I've tested quite a few and recently realized that they have a signature musk in the base and its in this fragrance.

Did you get the 100ml bottle or 200ml bottle ? And if you got the 200ml did it come in a similiar box like in the video ?
Most likely you are having olfactory fatigue. Mine lasts 10+ hrs. 24 hrs on clothes
