Zone 1 theme - Silent shopper Zone 1 chase theme - Look but don't touch Zone 2 theme - Lost and found Zone 2 chase theme - Mortal puppets Zone 3 theme - Fear outlet Zone 3 chase theme - Death follows Boss theme - Crownless king Escape sequence theme - King slayer
OST Predictions: Silent Shopper - Zone 1 Normal Theme (Confirmed) Look But Don't Touch - Zone 1 Chase Theme (Confirmed) Lost & Found - Zone 2 Normal Theme (Confirmed I think?) Mortal Puppets - Zone 2 Chase Theme (Confirmed) Fear Outlet - Zone 3 Normal Theme (Most likely) Death Follows - Zone 3 Chase Theme (Most likely) The Puppet King - Introduction or Cutscene to Puppet King? (Kinda Confirmed) Crownless King - Bossfight Theme King Slayer - Escape Theme (Confirmed)
King Slayer sounds way too victorious to be a 2nd bossfight theme. I think they'll pull a Bearly Buried and use Crownless King for both bossfights, and King Slayer will just be the escape theme.
It seems to be the most different escape track, you don't feel tension, is the end of this battle really an end for the King puppet, or doug Stopped to listen to what he had to say
Yes, propably the escape sequence is the entire mall is chaos and mannequin chase you from everywhere and you got adrenaline boost and just go straight to the portal while hearing brutal scream from the puppet king and mannequin and hearing malak yapping about "ImPosIbBlE, nO wAy YoU bEaT tHe KiNg?!!!"
I don't know why, but I'm imaging old school Castlevania action with this ost. Doug about to whip and throw an ax at the Puppet King's face. Fantastic music as always.
My prediction for the use of this song; Doug is about to escape when suddenly the Puppet King catches up with him. In fear of the Puppet King entering the portal, Bierce closes the portal. She then instructs Doug to slay the king.
Amazing as always, sounds like a boss rematch theme against the puppet king, except this time Doug has the power to take him down. Could also be the escape sequence.
Highly unlikely, as running for life mortal can merely be called king slayer. I'm absolutely not sure, but Doug was running away from the problems during his life, same when collecting the ring pieces. He only starts fighting in the medical center, and then keeps the streak by defeating mama bear and joykill, so it would be quite logical to kill the king too. And more over, taking Doug's personality into consideration, it would in his character to feel hatred towards the malak and his subordinates and be willing to take his vengeance after the suffering he undertaken in the bears basement. anyway, sorry for the bad english
Silent Shopper - zone 1 normal theme LBDT - zone 1 panic theme Lost & Found - zone 2 normal theme Mortal Puppets - zone 2 panic theme Fear Outlet - zone 3 normal theme Death Follows - zone 3 panic theme The Puppet King - monologue cutscene Crownless King - boss fight King Slayer - escape sequence Damn, this level itself has already had tons of OSTs
Even though I think you made a very good point regarding where the music are used, I don't really like how they use a different ambience and chase theme for every zone. The issue with this is that we don't get to hear each track as often anymore, and that it just feels conplicated with things changing every zone (even music!).
Maybe the reason they make different OSTs per zone is to distinguish each zone's environment, just like what they did to Bearly Buried. Zone 1 of Holiday Horror may look like normal mall during Christmas week, but as you progress to next zone, the mall environment becomes more sinister, so I think that's why the musics are different too.@@atthespeedbeyondlight9341
@@atthespeedbeyondlight9341This comment doesn't make any sense. So what if you won't hear it for that long? It already switches from regular to chase theme very often so you never even get a chance to hear the full themes in game anyway. I see there being unique regular and chase themes as a good thing. It allows for a more diverse atmosphere in each of the zones and it's also just more music for, in my opinion, the level with the best ost!
*Cough cough* In deadly decadence you can hear 5 or 10 seconds of the normal soundtrack, so what are you saying? so does this happen in torment therapy, and besides, the more the merrier, the more fleshed out the chapter, the better it will be.@@atthespeedbeyondlight9341
@@TacoLogan08What I mean is that I would rather them taking out "lost and found" and " Mortal Puppets" then continue using "Silent Shopper" and "LBDT" for zone 2. I hope it makes more sense to you now.
My guess for what this could be used for is when we face the puppet king again. I think this because this sounds like a remix of crown-less king, just like how joy of despair is a remix of joykill in a way. And that that ost is used for the rematch fight against joykill.
I freaking love this escape sequence ost and i think this ost will be playing while we escape and king puppet may chase us into front of the portal Cant wait it how look a like in chapter 5..
Plot twist: The king, after being impressed by Doug tenacity and badassness, tries to negotiate with him about something behind Malek back, and it doesn't end well for him. Let's put it that way.
A Monster secretly being a good guy is something I really want to see. It'd make the Puppet King feel more like a nuetral badass than your average Malak Goon that wants you dead.
I love how hopeful this music sounds. It's a stark contrast to the other themes of this level. It gives me the feeling of "You CAN overcome these nightmares. You CAN escape this hell. You CAN have your life back."
Sounds like the ost is for the escape sequence or perhaps the end of the boss fight or even potentially the end of the Puppet Kings home/castle or whatever the Puppet calls his domain.
The mall is being collapsing and you feel something that explodes and a horde of mannequins is chasing you and the center mall is in decadence You see that the king is very angry and goes insane and shows his true personality
